I'm just wondering, what is the highest monster level in free to play, what is the monster, and where is it (and drops as well please)? Are there any "bosses" in F2P? Does anyone think there will be any if there aren't? Would Jagex ever do this?

Greater Demons trump roaches. They're in high level wild though, and revs patrol around there.

Well seeing as Jagex has very little reason to give us much stuff like a new crazy high leveled monster, don't get your hopes up.

 

 

 

Roach soldiers are the strongest thing to kill in non-wildy, and probably your best bet if looking for drops, greater demons is wildy, but...that's wildy.

Revenants are fun to kill I guess but there's not much point to it, I think they have some rune drops in ftp but they're hard to get without using smite. They are the clossest thing ftp has to a boss monster.

 

 

 

Greater demons are level 92 and are only found in the demonic ruins in level 46 wilderness. They can easially be ranged from inside, If you willing to take the time to world hop every time a revenant comes by they're not that bad. Their best drops are rune scimitars, maces, full helms, kite shields and chain bodies.

 

 

 

Cockroach soldier are level 83 and found in the stronghold of player saftey. Ranging the would be impractiacal being that the can use an alternative range based attack and have an incredibly high range defence. Melee is the best option but is slow at best. Their best drops are rune square shield, scimitars, law runes and death runes. In my opinion they're not worth the time, they're hard to hit and anoying to kill.

 

 

 

It's unlikely that they will ever release any boss monsters because they would just be to hard to defeat with current ftp armor. And they have no reason to.
