As the title says, I'm an F2Per trying to get my range from 66-70, in some way to prepare for becoming a member (if that happens). Right now I'm training at the place with the two black knights and the altar, but I was wondering if there are any better places to train. I want a fast place, and I don't mind taking damage and having to eat food, as long as its fast. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks in advance.

Ice Giants are really great once you get used to using the safespot... Otherwise moss giants are great too.

There's a safespot at lvl 82 ankous, and it's good training there. My pure, xx Taoist xx has been training range there since lvl 40 and even at 60 he's doing very fine. ;D

If you want fast, get some bronze arrows(or iron if you want to spend the extra money) and go power train range at the zombies in the wilderness. They are right outside the bounty hunter entrance and they are aggressive with low hits. Don't even worry about rev's.

 

Wear full D'Hide with a bow and fill your inventory with some cheap food.

 

It's one of the best spots for range training if you're not picking up arrows. 70 shouldn't take too long, 30-40k exp per hour.

I dont think 30k-40k a hour is a correct number... The fastest exp in F2P for ranged is,was and will always be Ice Giants at about 20k exp a hour.

You're already using an awesome method. No other place has decent monsters to train on with the safety of full prayer. Safe spots can be unwieldy and the monsters involved almost always are crowded.

 

 

 

You require no food from protect from melee and I'll assume you have 44 prayer, which means you'll essentially have a 76 ranged level with eagle eye, improving your max hit and accuracy immensely. Black knights have deaths, mithril arrows, laws, steel bars, cosmics, and aren't too far away from the edgeville bank.

 

 

 

This is one of the least used, but still great, training spots in all of RS. You will seldom see anyone else training there. You won't need any food at all. You'll be doing lots of damage and doing it often. You'll get not the best drops, but some pretty decent ones. You'll have virtually no competition.

 

 

 

Stick to it mate, you're already training incredibly efficiently.
