I recognize that I messed up with a girl I really liked. She was a friend and I basically threw all of the rules of the game out the window for that reason. Good thing is, I caught myself early on and stopped being a wuss. I was just going to keep it chill for now, take a step back and maybe try again later. I still like her a lot and would definitely be open to trying again in the future. I'm also cool with giving it time (an entire summer even). Do you guys have any advice on how I should go about things?

Why are there no anticold pots?

Got my first wyvern task today. I'm meleeing them with whip, mind shield, Guthan's top, Dharok's legs, fury, slayer helm, dragon boots, and barrows gloves. I take a war tortoise filled with monks, an EE, and a full inventory of monks, but I still only manage around 25 or so wyverns a trip. What am I doing wrong? Should I be using another weapon? A different barrows set? Praying? Block wyverns entirely? Please help!

Should I sell the three rares I currently have then? Or wait it out to see if they rise a bit higher?

First of all, a very happy new year to all of you TIFers :D As the title says, I'm looking to quit RS. I might quit till the summer or I may never come back (hopefully it's the latter). In the past, when I quit for long periods of time, I would invest my cash in some items (rares), which would inevitably rise in value by the time I came back. However, at this period in time, I'm not so sure that investing in rares is a good idea (seeing as how rare prices have spiraled downwards in the past few weeks). What I need from you guys is some advice on what to do with my cash. I'm probably going to liquidate all my items (convert them to cash), and possibly invest the cash in a few rares. Would this be a good idea? If yes, what rares should I keep specifically? On the other hand, should I stick to keeping cold, hard cash instead? Is there perhaps something else I could invest my cash in? I'm posting a picture of my BOB as well to give you an idea of my items. I do also have some cash in MTK and various other items. It may be worthwhile to note that I do have a santa, green h'ween mask and easter egg, so telling me whether I should sell them now or keep them would also be helpful advice. After completing the quest "As a first resort..." you can buy raw bird meat from Chargurr for 17gp each and then re-sell it on the GE for around 80gp each. You can buy loads in a short time because Chargurr is just north of the Oo'glog bank. And the infinite run pool is located just inside Oo'glog as well, which means you'll never be walking :thumbsup:

Here's a nooby question for you guys: why do you some of you say to get a leaf-bladed sword for mith dragon tasks? To OP: Maybe spend some money building the perfect slayer's house. Including portals, an armor stand, a mounted glory, an altar, and a lectern (if needed).

It's 55 slayer for broad bolts. And at 70 defense I think you can tank if you take reasonably good gear. There are a number of aviansie guides out there in the Archive of Wisdom. Wow, that really blows. But how did you even manage to do that when attack pots are almost half the cost of super attack pots? Did you think you were getting away with them at a steal for half price? Surely if you had done your calculations for merchanting, you would have found it odd that 100k super attack potions (3) were only costing you 25 million instead of 48 million?

You, my man, are hilarious. And aviansies are monsters found at the God Wars Dungeon (GWD), which drop noted adamantite bars and are hence a great source of money (300-400k per hour). Unfortunately, they are not feasible at your current levels.

You have to go to the Saradomin statue near the Jolly Boar Inn. You'll see Surok there. Just talk to him and it'll start.
