  1. I'm on the same boat as you (five quests to quest cape!) so I will attempt to offer you some advice. The only skill I still have to raise for quest reqs is smithing (currently 65). Woodcutting: Teaks are probably the best exp, otherwise willows. Getting 72 shouldn't be too hard. Thieving: Get your thieving to 55 and then blackjack your way to 63. It's super fast experience. If you get bored, don't forget that a lot of quests give thieving experience as rewards! Herblore: I did super attack pots to 57, but that's just me. Smith: If you have the money smelt gold with gauntlets. If not, superheating mith is an option. Craft: I made emerald bracelets to from 63 to 66 and then sold them on the GE. You can definitely break-even. Hope I helped and good luck with your goal for a quest cape :D
  2. So training with a whip on controlled is better than training strength with an SS?
  3. With that logic you can pretty much use any money-making method and then buy bones
  4. With all the updates making it easier to travel around Runescape, I feel like it's much faster doing treasure trails now. All I can say is stick with it, you never know when you're gonna get lucky. I got a willow shortbow and 48 earth runes (joy!) on a treasure trail once, and then a sara kite and some other rune stuff on the next one. Definitely worth it in my opinion!
  5. Your best option is superheating mith bars. I was doing this to get my smithing higher a month ago, and I could easily break-even or even make a slight profit by buying the coal, mith ores and natures off the GE, and then selling the mith bars I superheated. It's also a good way to get your magic level up.
  6. I highly recommend learning how to pray flash. You can sometimes get through tasks without using a single prayer pot! Especially for tasks like black demons where it's easy to predict the attacks. Hope I helped.
  7. Is it still worth it to put your ten workers on fish if you haven't done Royal Trouble yet?
  8. So I'm in an FoG game and I'm up against a level 108 (I'm level 96). So I think, "What the hell, might as well go for it." It's really close, and in the end he thought he had won, but I ended up winning by about 50 charges or so. So he calls me a [Removed] , and then proceeds to spew a racist remark (how does he even know what colour I am). I proceeded to report him and even told him that I had done so, to which he responds, "Go ahead and report me. You tried ****. Too bad I didn't say anything reportable for you to report me." And then he proceeds to off private chat. I would post a screenshot but I don't know whether it's against the rules or not. Comments? Similar experiences? Anything? I really hope Jagex takes some action. If there's anything more I can do to get this guy banned I would gladly do it.
  9. Thanks a lot for your help guys, and thanks Sinkhan! I appreciate all your help. I guess I will stick to the black knights then.
  10. Hey guys! As the title says, I plan to go P2P sometime in the near future. I'm posting my stats and bank so you guys can tell me what skills I should raise and what items I should stock up on so I'll be ready :D Thanks! Stats: Bank:
  11. Hi all! As the title says, I'm an F2Per trying to get my range from 66-70, in some way to prepare for becoming a member (if that happens). Right now I'm training at the place with the two black knights and the altar, but I was wondering if there are any better places to train. I want a fast place, and I don't mind taking damage and having to eat food, as long as its fast. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks in advance.
  12. infinity/10 I saw u at ice giants :D how many arrows did u use?
  13. Great guide! I have to ask though, how do ice giants compare with flesh crawlers? Don't you end up missing out on prayer exp at flesh crawlers?
  14. And how do ice giants compare?
  15. Thanks a lot for all your advice guys! I'm definitely sticking to a scim then as that seems the general consensus, and I'll try out the berserker shield since I do tend to do FoG quite a bit. I might as well try out both ammies and see which one works out better since there are mixed opinions on that issue. Once again, thanks a lot for all your help!
  16. Well, I was training at ice giants today when I saw someone training with a rune long. I've always used a rune scim, but I saw him hit pretty hard and often. My combat stats are 78 attack, 79 strength, 75 defence, and 78 hp. Which one would be better given my stats? Also, would it be wiser to use an amulet of power or an amulet of strength? Thanks for all your help in advance :)
