September 16, 200817 yr I'm trying to record a video of a level in a video game, but I can't get the sound to record the right way. It comes out choppy, static-y, and just not good sounding. I have Hypercam and Camstudio. How can I get the sound recorded well on those? Or do you have a suggestion for a better piece of software?
September 17, 200817 yr Could use camstudio which is free. You could get fraps which you have to pay for. There are ways of getting it which i can not disclose of here.
September 17, 200817 yr Author I use camstudio. What do I do to make the sound quality better? It sucks as it is....

September 17, 200817 yr ......Why tell me to use camstudio if you know it has horrible sound quality? I never said it was horrible. You just asked if there was a way to make it better and i said i didn't know. Don't put words in my mouth :!:
September 17, 200817 yr why don't you try recording sound separately and just sync them in camtasia afterwards? that's possible right? if so, just look for a decent audio recorder like Audacity :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
September 17, 200817 yr You could re route your sound so that anything that comes out goes in, by setting your main sound card as the recording device, amirite? And then sync it, like Shadow said.
