September 18, 200817 yr Hes only killable during the quest but if you want the sword some other things drop them as well like the dagannoths on the very first part of water birth island and the ones in chaos tunnels I think. September 18, 200817 yr You can kill him, but it takes a lot of effort and its really worth. Heres how to do it. Take a inventory of 8 p pots, 8 monkfish, 8 rings of recoil and a super set. (wielding a ring of recoil). Pot up, put protect from melee on and attack him. The first 3 forms are pretty easy, but fourth hits fast and heals fast. Keep an eye on your prayer and keep wielding the recoils as soon as they shatter. EDIT that's during the quest, my bad.
