dragon246665
I was wondering if jagex was still planning on bringing back the historic PKing, the one where the entire world is a PK zone and its a total free for all? or did I just misread something somewhere? BabyPunchers
Yup, it's coming back. No looting though. Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color] Formerly RobinHoodie.

3rkid
You get a random generated drop like a monster drop depending on the impressiveness of the kill. Prevents RWT to an extent.

Zierro
It'd true, but we won't know how good the drops are or how your impressiveness is recorded until it's actually released yet of course.

So does this mean that the level 138 could go in with a friend, have that friend kill him and get the loot, then share the loot between the 2? 3rkid
is there any example of a random drop? None, Jagex has only given us one newspost of information, nothing about impressiveness, drops, the rewards, the level difference system. Nothing at all. Lot of speculation to be done. But they did say players would have a chance of dropping a couple different peices of equipment such as an "experience boosting item" Proud Owner Of A Quest Cape As Of 4/29/
dragon246665
you could probly get xp faster by just training the skill in question
Zierro
you could probly get xp faster by just training the skill in question Maybe, but right now it just boils down to speculation. Maybe it is an item that will even work for the expensive skills like Smithing and Prayer. That would save you money. Or maybe it is something you can equip that will make you earn more Xp like Shark Gloves.

davidium
jagex promises "short-term hard hitting gear" which they mention is 70+ requirements...by short term they probably mean equipment that degrade like fog/barrow items and hard hitting...rather self-explanatory if you ask me #-o and for those who think about abusing the system the drop depends on the impressiveness of the kill so even if you kill a level138 who is wearing nothing you will probably only get slightly more if not the same amount as what that level 138 was wearing: nothing and if the level 138 WAS wearing expensive items such as AGS, bandos etc you will get good drops but your opponent will lose his items so ask yourself who is going to be willing to lose all that on purpose? maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
