I made this banner for forum using Paint. As i understand how to use Paint and not GIMP.

It's not very good, but it's decent.

Personally, I don't think it is great. All it is is a downloaded text, a black background and an image that has been JPEG-ified.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Well that's believable. But can you make a better one? If so i challenge you to a friendly duel 8-)

Where do I find the render? I feel like a challenge

This is a [bleep]ing disgrace.

Really, take a moment and look at some tutorials and drop paint. :?

Here's the thing: you tell me it's a disgrace of a digital art (maybe it is), and then tell me to look at some tutorials and drop paint.

Why couldn't you tell me links of tutorials instead or at least show the respect and comment the banner?

I don't know if your just posting for no good reason, but couldn't you at least comment what can be improved?

How hard can that be.

That picture was horrible. I want to punch the person who made it in the face, it is shocking!

Anyway, here is what I made. It was...hard to work with, as I did not have my creative juices flowing today.

Also, can I suggest that you use Paint.Net, or Gimp? Both will produce great images, and have good tutorials so you can make better images. I myself you Paint.Net, simply because I prefer the simpler interface.

It needs to be entirely redone. As to links, I'm not going to go out of my way because you are too lazy to type in "GIMP tutorials" in a google search, or spend 5 minutes of your time looking at the great resources we have in the stickies for the gallery.

Woow Sweet job Ouchy! ::' You defintly beat me easily.

Anyhow, feel free to punch me but i will punch hard: Specially cause you mocked my banner

But well done m8 and thanks for tips: i will get going and use Pain.Net (Never heard of it)

Until i return, you better prepare. I might challenge you again!

In case you were wondering, Hemen, that is exactly why I don't post links or advice to some people. Also (not like it even matters) don't get Paint.Net.

Thanks ;)

I recommend that you register/look on the Paint.Net Forums. They have plenty of tutorials where you can learn, and there are plugins that you can download, which increase your image making capabilities.

Np m8. Looking into your "Level" of art: i can understand it looks like i am ungrateful towards links on Gallery. But thanks for reminding me, i am also lazy.

But for the record: i did spend 2 hours trying to learn Gimp function: and i only learned the Colour Balance. The interface of GIMP is so stupid.

It's like this:

You give a caveman a stone. The cave man is new to it, so it takes quite a while before he learns what it is good for. Example throwing.

I think it would be easier to make great art: if person knows how to use the functions.

So: instead of telling about it: SHOW IT

I don't understand every language well, as i quite honestly have gotten my own language nearly faded out when it comes to writting part. I came to Norway as kid, and it says rest pretty much.

I learned norwegian fast: i spoke norwegian.

So reading english (Specially program/profession based) is not always easy to understand, not to mention vocabulary that i haven't used before.

So it's better to see it: than read about it.

If you are serious about improving yourself I would honestly recommend getting GIMP. Paint.net is, in all honesty, not worth the time to learn because it is very basic. Better than Paint, and it's good for pixels or basic functions, but you won't get anything good looking out of it.

Get GIMP and look at the numerous tutorials even on TIF (stickies) or look at specialized graphic forums to get plenty of tutorials. If you actually want to get better I've seen people go from absolute crap to pretty damn good artists quickly.

Nadil is right. If you really want to get good, then I suggest that you get Gimp, or even Photoshop. Both will help you make even better images than Paint.Net.

Also, here is another link that can help you with your image making: [ur=http://www.deviantart.com/]Deviant Art[/url].

DeviantART can be a great resource (Hell I have one myself) but you have to wade through a lot of crap to get to the good stuff.

Thanks and i have got GIMP. Infact i asked a question in Gallery sticky, but noone answered. So i pretty much gave up.

I know GIMP is great once u learn it, but i find it so hard to learn...

But i will look at stickies: and i do want to improve. As i find making art in anyway is nice. It's like music to our eyes to be honest

Oh and i have been to Deviant Art and i have downloaded brushes for Signatures. But i find it a bit not orginal, as you use artist made brushes. But it's nice, i just feel foney when i use them that's all.

But any good guides on how to use the brushes? I can use them, but want to do in a artistic way that makes them look nice: instead of random using each brushes. If not i will try on my own :ugeek:

www.gimptalk.com

If you wanna see my tuts search through my post history. A way to make brushes look good. Use ones from the same pack?

I would link you to some but I dont get any. Demmit.
