Tree Farming Advice Needed

So I've started training farming through planting trees. I was just wondering whether watering or using supercompost makes a difference to their survival rate, and what are the most cost/time effective trees to plant. (I'm talking about both wood and fruit trees).

if you are focusing on exp it is best to pay the farmer to look after the trees for you...when you do so you don't even have to use supercompost and can be assured that the tree will not die...i don't think you need to water trees...just the sapling in the plant pot.

 

 

 

generally trees are much more expensive than fruit trees although fruit trees give around the same exp...the difference is that fruit trees take a much longer time to grow so i'll suggest you plant trees if you are planning to play quite often throughout the whole day and plant fruit trees just before you sleep so that they will be ready by tomorrow ;)

380 minutes

 

7,069.5 EXP

 

9.3 GP per EXP

 

 

 

Using the same formula above (Minutes/growth time):

 

3.8 trees a day

 

26,789.7 EXP

 

 

 

Yews are clearly a best. However, I do not know your farming level, so I really cannot help.
