How do percentage plusses work?

Ok, the Salve Ammy E give 20% bonus to attack and strength. (when fighting undead)

 

The black mask gives 15% bonus to attack and strength. (during slayer tasks)

 

 

 

Are these bonuses to your level? (take level, add 20% or 15% to it (lvl 100 str, 20% of 100 is 20, so an invisible lvl 120 str)

 

 

 

Do they stack (Zombie SLayer task, use salve ammy and black mask to get 35% bonus?)

Pretty sure it's increase your level invisible of course and no they do not stack.

Well..there are visible stat boosts and invisible stat boosts.

 

 

 

A visible stat boost is like a potion, where you actually see the increased lvl,

 

 

 

an invisible stat boost is like a black mask or a salve amulet or using prayer where you cant see the lvl boost, it is hidden but still there

 

 

 

2 visible boosts do not stack (drink 2 str pots...nothing extra happens) and 2 invisible boosts dont stack (black mask doesnt combine with salve)

 

 

 

but a visible and an invisible boost stack.

Also invisible boosts won't let you do things above your level.

 

 

 

For example an Axemans Folly will visibley increase your woodcutting and let you chop trees 1 level sooner. However a Beaver gives an invisible boost and won't let you chop trees earlier. It will however let you cut trees you can cut at the increased rate.

it is an invisible boost, so if you have 99 attack, the salve ammy(e) will increase it to 119(invisibly)

 

 

 

it WILL NOT stack with the black mask bonus
