Featured Replies

when i do a search for paint it dose not show anyfiles (other than wut i named paint) and i was wondering if there was anyway i could reloocate r download a new copy of microsoft paint

You should be able to...

Start > Settings > Control Panel

Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components

Double Click on Accessories and Utilities

Double Click on Accessories

Find Paint and make sure it is checked. (Unchecking means uninstalling)

Before doing that, I would look at: C:\Windows\System32 and try to find "mspaint[Caution: ExecutableFile]" Otherwise, do the above.

the file dose not even exist i looked in the add/remove programs thing i looked in system32 i did a search on my computer nothin

look in the windows system32 folder thats where it is on mine (do a manual check if not look on the net)

It should be under mspaint[Caution: ExecutableFile] in system32 then just send to desktop or windows/start menu/programs/accessories or for xp C:\documents and settings/ur username here\startmenu\programs\accessories to get it on the start menu

or someone here that can host exe files for you could just host it for a short period of time for you to download if you cant find it

Whether or not it's on your computer, doing what the_sith suggested will let you reinstall it. Read carefully, he didn't tell you to check the add/remove programs menu...

You may be able to download it from the windows update website, if not, try downloading graphics gale, make sure you pick the free one an not shareware though, I got a little bit confued about that when I try to download it myself.
