Does anyone have a kingdom in Miscellania? and if so...

can you give me pointers on it. i havent done the quest yet, is it worth the effort?

 

also, i hear some people say you can make 1m a week doing this. is that true?

 

any advice at all would be much appreciated

The quest is worth it if you can go there everyday for about 5 minutes to cut maple logs..

 

 

 

Uhm, not sure about the 1m though, sounds a bit too overthetop, but if you get lucky with 8 magic tree seed nests from the woodcutters you can, but that wont happen.

 

Herbs might work aswell, I think you should do the quest to see if it works out for you.

 

 

 

It's randomly generated, you can make lots or lose a bit,so if you dont have much money I dont think gambling it on this is a great idea.

Do both quests relating to the kingdom, then put 10 workers on raw fish and 5 on flax. It's a steady profit of about 500k-600k per week. Last week I made 600k and didn't go up at all during the week to improve my approval percentage.

TBH the kingdom is a great way to make money at a very slow pace. It generates supplies for you without the need to really do much except travel there and cut a handful of logs to get your approval rating back up to max, and then simply wait it out till you receive you payout...whenever you want. Just remember to keep an amount of cash over 750k to maximize production as any amount under 750k will decrease.

 

 

 

If I was you, and you had a little bit of extra money laying around, you should do both kingdom quests and work at invest some into this great moneymaker.

It is worth it!!

 

 

 

I finished both quests. I put 10 workers on Raw Fish, and the rest (currently) on Maples.

 

 

 

I put 1.2 Mil in the kingdom. I collect items once per week (after getting my weekly dose of Tears of Guthix). Over a span of 7 days, the workers use 75k per day...or a total of 525k for the week (I keep my balance at 1.2 mil...just in case something happens that I can't get there during normal schedule, and it is 8 or 9 days before I collect) I try to visit every few days to get my favor back to 100% (the higher the favor, the more supplies are gathered.), but I do not collect until I have gathered my Tears of Guthix.

 

 

 

From the Raw Fish: 3400 - 3500 Raw Tuna, and 900 - 970 Raw Swordies. 20+ caskets. Several uncut gems (up to Diamond). Level 1 Clue Scroll. Green Boots / Gloves (which always sell on GE at median price). Crystal Key Halves (Can get both Ring and/or teeth). The caskets contain cash, uncut gems, Cosmic Talismans, or Crystal Key halves.

 

 

 

From Maples: 3k+ logs. 20+ bird nests (contain Rings up to Diamond, colored eggs(Red, Green, and Blue), or Tree Seeds). The tree seeds vary, but I have gotten Spirit Tree Seeds and Magic Tree Seeds.

 

 

 

I usually sell all the fish and the boots/gloves, and keep everything else to train stats with. I do not burn Swordies anymore, so I always cook them before selling on the GE (Raw and Cooked price was pretty close last I checked). Sometimes I will cook 1k of the Raw Tuna...sometimes not. They are worth more Raw than Cooked.

 

 

 

From the items I sell, I usually earn close to 1 Mil. If you subtract the the 525k i put back in, I clear 475k per week. If I sold the Maple Logs and Tree Seeds as well, my profit margin would be even higher. I always complete the Clue Scroll...you never know what you will get. I have gotten Gold Trimmed Mage Gear, which sells for a good price...so the scroll can be the cherry on top!

 

 

 

So...I make decent cash for doing nothing...I get good XP (140 for each cooked Swordie...100 for each Raw Tuna + Xp for burning Logs and enchanting the Rings found in the Bird Nests)

 

 

 

Note: I have selected Flax in the past, instead of Maples...when I did, I got 4k+ Flax and misc seeds.

 

 

 

I have not used the Kingdom to gather Produce...or Herbs...or Teak/Mahogany Logs. I did try Coal, but was not impressed with the results.

 

 

 

I recommend ALWAYS maxing Raw Fish, and then either Flax or Maples...depending on your long term goals.
