When to sell..

Featured Replies

I currrently own Bandos tassets and chestplate and a dfs, I bought the bandos at around the price it is now (after it's gone up 250k each or so) and I bought the dfs around 15.5, which is now going up 600k+ a day, and so to avoid missing out I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas as to what these items will do in the next few days, my assumption is that the world2 crowd will already almost have turned the prices round and they'll be dropping again, (insert 'freaking merchers play the game and stopping messing with our items comment here' :ohnoes: ) Also, if i decide not to sell how low are these items likely to fall in the next month or so, (I'm reluctant to sell as I use them all the time).

I would say to sell as close as you can to the PVP world's release. It's a bit of a gamble, do you hold for one more day, or do you sell now and retain profit?

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

Never sell. These items are good and extremely useful. No matter if they drop to 1m each, you'll never lose money if you don't sell them.

I agree with the previous poster - if you're worring about its value, it's probably too expensive for you :ohnoes:.

If you bought them to use for training/boss killing - keep them and wear them.

If you bought them as an envestment - whoops :P the armour market is never very stable, if you're merching you want quick turnovers so stick to barrows sets etc. A few dharok sets can net you the profit in 1 day that a dfs or bandos can give you in a month, and more reliably (with practice).

So either keep them, or just sell when you're comfortable with the profit.
