Corruption vs DragonForce For our first round of the TICT 20 v 20 category we were drawn up against Dragonforce. We set up the fight with the following rules: 20 v 20 as drawn for Tip.it Tournament CWA Classic arena Binds Melee only No corrupt dragon items Ring use allowed No FoG gear No RC staffs DF attacks, CoR defends No wearing other clans cape After a bit of a late start (I think DF were waiting for latecomers) we began, with DF getting a 2 person lead due to a dc and a bad first tank from us, but we quickly evened it up through our tanking then built up a lead. After Mage Boy 500 tanked using his Godmode button and abused a Sara Brew glitch on f2p, it became clear that we were to be victorious and we gained several more swift knockouts. Thanks for the fight DragonForce, and good luck in other categories :).

gf trwf, i did enjoy it and we had a great start - then a few poor tanks let us down. epic lag piyush ;P and wouter you're such a fail losing us all our prayer bonuses :( i had 126 pray! :P gf trwf now go win the tourney please

Watched the vid but you can't have half your clan be called 1 name, then when the other clan splits their pile say they are mass sniping. I mean really now.

We only ever had 3 snipers, I think you confused our main pile for snipers at times because I called a few piles too fast and then switched off before the entire clan got on them - that was me not doing my best job of calling rather than us mass sniping :$

Corruption vs Exodus 30 v 30 TICT war We set up our first TICT war with the following rules: Binds Melee only CWA Classic Arena Centre boundaries No Corrupt items No wearing opposing clans cape Ring use allowed FoG gear allowed As there has been some dispute over the rules mid-fight, so here is some evidence that those were the rules agreed: http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p62/nicky62/exorules2.jpg Starting: Exodus had one disconnect just before they charged in. The fight commenced with both clans having strong tanks, but we managed to steadily build a lead. A few swift KOs throughout the fight kept Exo close and even gave them the lead at one stage, along with their hard-hitting snipers. We then tried a tactic of switching quickly between people who our 3 snipers had already worked to low food, hopping around multiple piles once they started running as we lacked the binds to chase them once they used their rings. This is what resulted in complaints of "mass sniping", however both clans maintained main piles from start to finish and neither clan broke the tournament rules on sniping. With several swift transitions and some superior tanking, we were able to whittle down Exodus to quickly regain our lead before building it higher. When we had a lead of 9 to their 6, they decided to admit defeat and started to leave the clan chat. Ending: Thanks for the fight, you put up a great challenge and I'm sorry there was a bit of flaming from both sides which put a sour side to an otherwise enjoyable fight. GF Exo :)

At least we've done more than crash a bunch of wars :rolleyes: No offense here buddy, but VR's accomplished a lot more than pkm has. I'd still rather join PKM than VR though lol.

Cor is way more relaxed than most honour clans, almost everybody who's left top-10 warring clans has said that Corruption is just a more fun community. We're always having a joke on vent or irc, and we're less strict with our members yet without allowing things like crashing fights (other than Vr's, of course). And yes, the unique atmosphere that allows fun to combine with a high standard of in-game conduct and pking is why I joined.

It's such a shame that the disease of VR-posted topics have spread to Tip.it forums, which has usually been a far more mature and reasonable forum for discussion of clan topics. But on the upside... their stupidity does always make me laugh. +34 members/fas since I got leader, we're nearly dead guys!!!

Was meant to be no posting (not just no rsc posting) but MEH. 3 of your officials told me you had 49 people and wouldn't get more, we had 50 so I figured it'd be an enjoyable fight. 75 people, and the large amount of sniping in a no-sniping fight made it pretty stupid to continue so we ended early. Wouldn't have set it up if I had known your turnout lol. Wasn't really enjoyable compared to our fight yesterday... and btw why does the title says defeats "again"? Yesterday was a draw; you didn't win it lol.

That's not a ddos it is a flood, and they are pretty easy to stop - just change the password to your server and it's stopped. Shame they pulled that kind of stunt though but any clan that associates with DK can't be trusted anyway.

Thanks for your post my dear Dragonwood member, but I think when I close the clan I lead (which isn't going to happen) it will be me who posts it rather than some nonamer. Corruption hasn't closed, we've been going for 6 years and will go for at least 6 more. Good luck in your future trolling endeavours!

Sparze tanked for a total of 11 seconds if you add the multiple times Corr piled him on saturday. I don't know any worse tanks from these forums who I've fought myself.

VR aren't quite stupid enough to actually declare on DF, they know that Corr would crash any planned fight. I'd make sure of it myself :). And VR keep declining my requests for a rematch of saturday, looks like they are backing down already :lol:. What goes around comes around, and it's just starting to come around...

This topic is hilarious. I loved the d chain kill from me btw, you can see the cape in your inventory where you've cape switched lmao. Sparze you are so incredibly angry about losing to Corr that I almost feel bad for wrecking your clan for 3 hours. Almost. You don't get that it isn't VR vs DF, it is VR vs DF, Corr and EoS. Even smaller clans like TR were crashing you and that should say something. You have the support of absolutely nobody after what you have done to the clan world, and that will be your downfall. I shall enjoy being part of VR's closure. :thumbup: Good luck crashing us.

Corruption vs Violent Resolution Early in the week I contacted VR officials asking for a week-prep pkri this saturday. Corruption was highly motivated for this fight with our biggest rival, and despite our boards and audio both being ddosed on the day of the fight we had our best turnout since the release of pvp worlds, peaking at 110 people mid fight. After finding an empty world, Corr and VR rushed each other and the fight began. Corruption starting: 292 opts Violent Resolution starting: 350 opts [need picture confirmation] Corr's pile started off very strong and it stayed that way throughout the fight. VR soon had to regroup around lava gap and then break the boundary rules by running to new gate at they attempted to battle off our snipe unit, while Corruption continually cleared VR's snipe unit and hit their main pile. After around 2 hours of fighting, VR no longer had any discernable main pile and their entire clan was mass sniping. This at first made things hard for us as it caused us to lack hybrids, but we fought through it and started to clear their snipers once more. As soon as we had a main pile going once more we knew the game was up for VR as we simply chewed through them until they called it off. Corruption ending: 285 opts(103 in vent) Violent Resolution ending: 0 Thanks to all the clans that helped keep it a clean fight. I look forward to future fights with VR, hopefully next time they'll be more of a challenge but somehow I doubt it. I'm amazed any clans ever accept fights with you as before the fight even started you were breaking the cape rule, and there were multiple members fighting in addy or running to single. Nothing I didn't expect though. :rolleyes:

Well that's the whole idea behind an alliance isn't it? That argument isn't really...a negative one. In fact, I think it's a good thing that big clans, who are normally at eachothers throats, are working together in this. And in the meantime, people from smaller clans are getting vaulable experience while still helping the cause. It's a win-win in my book, unless you're NH to begin with. Will IA last forever? Of course not. But while they're at it, you can go and have fun wiping out people who destroy legitimate fights, who sacrifice the community's enjoyment for their own selfish needs. Well its just a game i don't see Crashing being NH at all first of all i don't even believe in NH Bs its a game some people find crashing being fun some don't. yes its great experience for little clans to go out and team with others on a clan but thing is that when ever try go have PVp war Dk will be right there to crash them , just watch At TRWF , TR , RE , Nbk when there Next pvp war will be Im positive it will be crashed . Well Im Vr retired Member If you were wondering :D Good luck clans who is Helping IA : It's just a game but the fact that it's online doesn't change anything, there are humans playing the game who you are required as a member of civilised society to show a decent level of respect to. I'm quite sure that if I was playing football with with some friends you wouldn't run in with a couple of buddies, steal our ball, beat a few of us up and then run off laughing. There are people who do act like that in real life, but they are social outcasts who not only are viewed highly negatively but are deemed officially unacceptable by society and are punished by criminal law. Runescape is governed by the same principles: crashing fights is conciously and willingly ruining the fun of others for your own enjoyment and possibly (virtual) financial gain. There is no police in runescape, jagex do ban people but only for the most serious of offenses and even then a large number of rule breakers get away unpunished. Independant Alliance, however, is a kind of vigilante force doing the work of online-police, standing up for those who have had their fun ruined by clans like Dk, Zh and VR and preventing them from doing any more damage to the community. Whether you believe in calling something 'honour' or 'no honour' is basically irrelevant. You can name it what you want or not name it at all, but that basic level of respect which we each require from another person in order to respect them back is lacking when you crash fights, and that is what I could call 'honour' on runescape. Crashing fights for your own selfish needs, as ninane accurately put it, is a total lack of honour. Jagex themselves agree on this terminology when they renamed their offenses towards other players 'honour offenses' in the new report system in-game. I think you are probably right that DK will try to fight back by crashing the members of IA even more, recognising that they aren't strong enough to take on the entire alliance and so instead targetting individual member clans. However, the alliance is comprised not only of smaller level clans but also the very top of the clan world such as Divine Forces, Damage Inc, Echo of Silence and even my own clan Corruption joined officially a few days ago. Dk may have grown in numbers from their recent merge but they haven't truly grown stronger as their joining with Vr and ZH was already happening. No clan will accept a fight with DK, they are riddled with spies, their members are inexperienced and their leadership is sub par. All they can do and all they will do is attempt to crash fights, and while they may succeed every now and then in disrupting a fight this will grow more and more infrequent as IA strengthens. DK has closed/reopened/merged several times already in its short history and I forsee this being forced again very soon. At every fight I've been to with IA, the no honour clans have been pushed from the fight in under 10 minutes. The attention they are getting might feel great, a lot of people have such messed up heads that even the negative attention online feels good to them, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time until it gets very very boring indeed to go out, fail in your goals and die every single day. Thanks for the wishes of luck but we don't need it :) we have right on our side.

Corruption vs The Titans - Saturday, 27th June 2009 - 15 Snipers from 4pm - 9pm est. 9pm - 2am GMT. No sniper cap after that - BH/PVP Pkri - Spiders to Gds - Start - 4:00 P.M EST, 9:00 P.M GMT - No using other clans cape - Clan who pulls more defends - If a clan crashes, we team. - If VR show up at all on our world we stop the fight and clear them. Earlier in the week corruption approached The titans with uncapped PKRI for saturday. After loosing to TT the last time we were 100% ready to go, ready to show TT what were really made of. Corruption prepared throughout the week, corruption gained sets, boosed morale and was ready to take on the Titans. The day of Judgement came, we pulled around 80 people to TT's 60-70. We dd'd at east tree and waited for the fight too begin. The start of the fight was even with both clans Koing left and right, nobody had a clear advantage. Once the Sniper cap had lifted, TT sent in their unit keeping us busy. Futher into the fight we started to send in around 20 snipers, which made TT regroup all over the map. For the last 30-45mins we were chasing TT's regroup around the map, we knew we had the victory in our site, we sent in a few more snipers which eventually made them end. Good clean fight today TT, always enjoyable to fight you. Corruption ended with 85 people in audio with tt ending with 60. Corruption Starting: 219 opts TT Starting - 183 opts Corruption Ending: 237 opts TT Ending: 49 people (150 opts) Kill Pics 40 kills 7 deaths \

You can't rest in combat so snipers now have an extra function: hitting people resting so they can't do it.
