qwerty4242
The RuneScape website seems to have disappeared  Whenever I try to access the site all I get is a message saying "The document was empty" and a blank page. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something wrong with the site?

zeekyhbomb
well im playing right now so it should be working fine, maybe its your computer? :D
qwerty4242
Nope, not my computer. Every other web site I've tried is working. It's just the RuneScape site that is dead. Being able to continue playing it just means that the game servers are working, but I am trying to get to the RuneScape website, which seems to be down. So if you managed to get to the website and load the game before it went down you wouldn't see a problem. Edit: I tried doing the reload thing and have managed to get the main page to load, but can't get past that yet.
apinagez
I have had same problem earlier today, i rebooted my comp and it works now, you should try it  If it doesn't work it may be your firewall/antivirus software blocking runescape, your browser, or even your java machine. ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me
vmser
No problems here, or so it seems.
qwerty4242
Already did the reboot, but like I said it's only the RuneScape site that won't load. All other sites work fine and so do any Java applets running on those site. When the message "The document contains no data" is shown that means the web server didn't sent anything back to the browser, which usually means their web server is having problems. Sometimes it can mean that the data is being lost somewhere on the Internet before it gets to your browser. I can eventually get into their website if I keep hitting reload, and the game works fine once it is loaded. It's just annoying having to wait up to 15 minutes to get to the server list page
apinagez
If it doesn't work it may be your firewall/antivirus software blocking runescape, your browser, or even your java machine. Calm down, try to disable your firewall for 5 minutes to see if it still blocks runescape, if it doesn't u know its your firewall. ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

Aldeon
might be running off temp file which its having trouble reading just clear out your temp files by if your using IE clcik tools>internet options delete cookies then temp internet files popup should appear don't click the checkbox. click ok. Then click them temp files agian and check the check box, and then go ahead and click ok. Now go to settings and select check for newer versions of stored pages ever time i visit the page. Then reset your browser maybe your computer if you want to and try it again it should work if not refresh a few times still doesnt then google mozilla firefox download it then use that its a lot better blocks up pop-ups better, has themes, excellent download manage it takes some getting used to the new enviroment but its very similar to IE graphically speaking
