Ok, so i spent the past 2 days fishing lobbies and swordies at the guild.

 

managed to make about 1.2mill

 

 

 

i was wondering if this was decent or am i the slowest fisher on the go.

 

 

 

also, how much $$ would you say you make in 2 days of shark fishing.

Sharks, swordfish, and lobsters are all very slow moneymakers, so it shouldn't be surprising you've gotten so little output. 1.2m in 2 days is actually a lot more than the average player would get--you need to play five or six hours a day to get that kind of money out of lobsters and swordfish.

If you can fish monkfish I would do that instead.

turned out to be 1.5mill after i finally sold the catch.

 

as long as it's above average.. i'm more concerned with leveling fishing itself. the fish are really just an added bonus

Monkfish are definelty the fastest xp/cash. Significantly faster than sharks, so much so that you will make faster cash in the long run :)

Ya monks are the best if you can do them. I did 99 fishing on lobsters, made about 40m.

 

 

 

Dont even bother with sharks if you want fishing levels. Even at 99 fishing sharks are hella slow.

 

 

 

Also, fishing is my favorite way to make cash these days. Its free money, you can fish and read, watch tv, and post online at the same time. If im at home, im fishing while i do everything lol. I wish there were more skills like fishing (ya ya maxed woodcutting already).
