Well, I have been cutting willows at Drayonor for some time now and I wanted to know whether willows or teaks are faster to get 99 woodcutting.

 

 

 

Also, if teak is faster should I cut at it Ape Atoll or the Jungle area where you pay 100 trading sticks?

 

 

 

I'm not looking to gain cash as Im most likely either going to fletch/firemaking my willows or drop/firemake the teaks.

Teaks are faster by about 15k an hour, IIRC, and Ape Atoll is where I heard was best.

And dosen't it require a ginormous amount of trading sticks if I bank em via the villager?

Teaks are faster by quite a bit. Yews could almost catch up with willows, and think how much more profitable yews are...

 

 

 

You should get the inferno adze, a few thousand trading sticks, and go to mainland Karamaja. Use the parcel service and teak trees for 10 trading sticks each, and go for longer inventories with a BoB or use the inferno adze to incenerate a few logs for firemaking xp. Bank with the parcel service like I said before, and you'll make more than you'll spend on trading sticks.

 

 

 

Another method is getting a burner to help burn your logs. With the trade margin increase, you'll be able to burn quite a few inventories as long as you have over 150 or so quest points.

10k sticks is a daily amount, 9990 gets 27 runs and the 10 extra bank your glory (wielding a rabbit foot) or lunar/dramen staff (wielding axe), so you leave with 27x 27 teaks.

 

 

 

Wouldnt mind getting a friend or 2 buying 10k more sticks if you were to 'camp' there.

I have enough willows for 92 firemaking (74 atm) which would allow me access to the inferno adaze if I can truimp over the minigame but then again it would take a long time. Plus, I only have 100k with me now.

The profit per teaks is a bit off. Let's do some math to find a more accurate answer...

 

 

 

Trading sticks have went from 8 to 5gp and now up to 6. 20 for using the parcel service and the teak trees. That's 120 gp for each run, and you make 28*86~88 gp every run. That's aproximately 2408 for selling at minimum price. The total profit per inventory would be aproximately 2280 gp, divide that by 28 and you get a bit over 81.

 

 

 

About yews and magic trees, he's absolutely correct. The XP is slow compared to teaks, although yews can almost match the xp per hour rate for willows. Magic logs max at 150k per hour with 99 woodcutting and a dragon axe. With current prices, you'll need to cut a full load in less than 20 minutes.
