minor Herblore xp tip for Herblore skill guide

Featured Replies

I suggest pointing out a minor herblore xp tip.

Searching for and cleaning herbs on Karamja used in the Jungle Potion quest can get you experience even after the quest is done. It's not much, but you can search for the stuff, say, on the rocks in the mine southeast of the village and northeast of the nature altar (not Shilo, the one where the clean-up game is played), clean it and drop, search and clean another to your hearts content.

I too considered training herblore this way after completing Jungle Potion many moons ago.

However, each ID is only 2.5xp, they are not noteable so each one must be dropped individually, and Jagex has controlled the search and/or respawn times to prevent players from training in this way.

If someone was really determined they might want to do this, but I don't think we should add it to our guide.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

It could be helpful to a lower level herblorist.

It's certainly not a great way, but some of the other methods of training cease to be easy after many levels, so why wouldn't it be worth noting for low level users?

I don't it worth adding. Our guides cannot have every method of training made in the game. It would be great for a player made guide if someone had other training methods with it! ;)

I still think it's worth adding when you consider some of the other minor tips in the guides.

If the powers-that-be don't agree, that's okay.
