rockfreack
i was mining silver at the alkharid mine and when i just got my ore i got a message i can't remember it all but here's wat it was like ''this rock is exhausted try to mine at the other silver near this one'' and then when you right clicked on it the option weren't mine, prospect and examine but just examine if you experience it i would like to know more about it thank
n_odie
I think I know what is going on: What you have done is mined all the ore from the rock. Just like many other raw materials around Runescape, you mine the rock to get the ore and once you have received the ore, you have to wait for it to respawn. During this respawn point, the "rock is exhausted." A way to train mining so that you don't run into this problem is to find a mining spot with multiple ores. For mining areas feel free to check out the Mining Guide. ~odie RIP MichaelangelopolousThanks to cowboy14 for the pimp sig!

LucidX
Actually I've seen this happen too but the rock is "permanently" exhausted...it's not just out of ores. It only seems to happen to one rock in the Al Kharid mine, I haven't seen it happen elsewhere...yet.
BloodArgon
Iv seen this too. Normally it says "this rock contains no ores" But, when you mine this one, it has a full chatbox message (like NPC conversations, but just text) saying the rock has been exhausted of its ores. Its only for this ONE silver rock in Al-kharid. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th
