Question regarding ankous

Featured Replies

Hey. i dont know much about ankous, a powerful creature located in the last level of the SoS. i heard that they r very good xp to those who have 90+ stats. i am not one of those ppl but it interests me because i have heard that they have a safespot which might be a solution to high level range training. can u tell me about this safespot. is this good range training for f2p. and wat levels r recommended to start shooting them at.

thx all.

I tried maging them once. There are safespots, but what often happens is that when you are safespotting one of them, another will attack you.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

The ankous are bad for safespots unless they're non-agressive to you and is a joke as a profit for f2p.

The best profit and experience would be to melee them.

It's fairly good exp if you can last there for awhile. My average is about 80k-110k exp per trip, 1 trip takes several hours for me.
