Due to the new 25k rule in pvp world rune becomes unnessarry (sp?). I wore full steel into varrock a day ago and asked couple full runers to no arm me soo far only 1 refused out of 10

no arm is for dorks who dont train def usually i disagree to those fights in fight arena. at 1st the purpose was to speed up fights not its to make lazy ppl( probably the same tht say ,"def nob") have a battle handed to them. those kids need to grow up and deal with it. :evil:

Use what you like in battles. I'll still be using my Rune. Lower grade armors won't be replacing it any time soon...

It may become "unnecessary" to break the 25k rule but i'm sure people won't use steel it in favour of it. The def bonus on rune is well worth the cost of it. Also i agree with Sam, if you're wearing full steel (whether you can't afford rune or can't wear it) i don't see why anyone with rune should have to "no arm" you / why you should ask someone to "no arm" you.

"No arm" fights are done in controlled circumstances. Usually both players has rune in their invent to put on after.

 

 

 

Now, you might say that the person with steel is getting the upper hand(loss wise) but a no arm fight would not occur. Plus, the rune guy probably has more experiance Pking(thus the greater risk)

lol if your no arming and you have steel in your invent and they have rune in there invent thats quite an unfair match loss wise. and no arm fights are for people with no def wanting to be able to easily kill people with defence.

Yeah, I think it could. No arm is really for people with low def who can then gain advantage over people with higher def. In a no arm fight, i'm guessing someone with 1 def and higher att or str would have an advantage over someone with 40 def at the same combat.

 

 

 

Really if I were to make a pure I don't think I would make it have much def, most fights I see are no arm anyway.
