UnknownRemoval
The fact I currently have 50 summoning, the charms for around 58, and no cash to spend on it also speaks a lot? Slaying will change that though. Retired Crew Member | Retired RuneScape Player
davidium
imo should sell the fury and buy like 5-10 glories instead which will be very helpful...also, since you should try to cut cost as much as possible, you could get a granite shield instead of an obby shield which is much cheaper than obby shield but provides the same def just not the str bonus (which i feel is not life-changing) don't get a fighter torso unless you plan on doing some really easy tasks or have high def cause if not you will require guthans which you don't have yet or waste quite a bit of food...torso has worse def than addy plate body... also get some pray pots and anti dragon fire shield if you plan on meleeing metal drags...either that or you can mage them...and seeing as you probably have more than 70 range you can consider ranging some of your tasks such as fire giants and at higher levels even black demons and hell hounds...or and if possible get a dragon halberd which is very useful on big monsters with a higher than average defense such as fire giants, greater demons (can hit very high consistently on these), hell hounds, black demons etc...dds spec would probably not do as much even if you used 4 dds specs and 3 halberd specs. if you can't get 68 summoning i will advise you not to get guthan either since it wouldn't be that essential if you are on a tight budget...many more important things for a slayer and food with terrorbird can replace guthan most of the time...use pray pots only when really necessary and try to cut cost as much as possible. for example you could use karil against aberrant specs instead of praying and maybe wear a kwarum glove if you can use one...while slayer earns you quite a bit it really isn't all that much imo...if you are looking for something big, go boss hunting ;) maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
UnknownRemoval
Stats are too low to boss hunt. Sorry I won't get a stat sig, mine just pwns too much. As I said before, I'm only buying prayer pots when I need them. Also for cash, i'm planning to slay until 80+. Which is a long time. Obtaurian
fighter torso- worthless trash pray pots- GET THEM obby sheild- you can get by without it... cannon- get one, speed up tasks sooooo much Listen to this guy. Guthans isn't nessecary if you have 68 summoning. I have 52 summoning and I use monkfish, bones to peaches tabs and either spirit terrobird or void spinner and I get by fine. Don't listen to this guy. Bones are a waste of time, unless you can't last. That's what Guthan's is good for... and try to aviod the Bunyip, by the way. Avoid the bunyip? I know you consider yourself to be an expert on slayer and summoning, but the bunyip is only 2k a pop, and grants 2 hp a minute for 44 minutes, why would he avoid that, its like a slayers dream. Because combat familiars are far more useful. They counteract the time wasted by using Guthan's, allowing you to slay much faster. I personally bring an Overlord pouch, a Bunyip pouch, and pineapple pizzas to every task. I use the overlord until I run out of food or its timer runs out, then I switch to the bunyip. I sold my guthan's a long time ago. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
UnknownRemoval
When I make enough cash in drops, shall I invest a large portion of it on raising summoning? As it's only level 50 just now. Retired Crew Member | Retired RuneScape Player
mister_moocky
You'll want guthan's or use a healing familiar. I like guthan's. quit
UnknownRemoval
As said before, I will also ration some of the cash from drops for another set of Guthan's. Since I sold mine for the supplies. (I could sell my fury and be half way there) Retired Crew Member | Retired RuneScape Player
