Hey i was just playing rs today and i found that if i sold battlestaffs at ge 2 at a time at min price, when they sold i got money for max price. Do anyone else have this bug? -.-

Well it's not a bug if it was an instant buy. All it means is that someone had an offer at max price already, so when you sold at min price, it bought for max.

Yeah, what zaaps said. If you sell at a lower price, and someone has a bid for a higher price, it will automatically sell for a higher price.

The GE is programed to give you the best deal you can get, when it arises.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You put it on min.

 

 

 

There are 5 people buying for max, and then your friend offers min.

 

 

 

You would need to sell 6 staves at min for your friend to get one.

 

 

 

Except, with the GE, there are thousands of offers being processed, so, its practically impossible to do this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your buying an item for 1500.

 

 

 

Someone puts up for 1400.

 

 

 

Someone after him puts it up for 1300.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You get the 1400 item, since it came in first and was the 'best deal'

It doesnt matter what the item is, if it happens the way you said then there are other buyers and other sellers.

Bronze med helm is an item used in Black Knight's Fortress so it is actually slightly popular.

 

 

 

Try a really unpopular item like a 1-dose agility potion or beer, something that is tradeable that nobody really uses.
