All it means is that someone had an offer at max price already, so when you sold at min price, it bought for max. ~It's Super Effective! You put it on min. There are 5 people buying for max, and then your friend offers min. You would need to sell 6 staves at min for your friend to get one. Except, with the GE, there are thousands of offers being processed, so, its practically impossible to do this. Your buying an item for 1500. Someone puts up for 1400. Someone after him puts it up for 1300. It doesnt matter what the item is, if it happens the way you said then there are other buyers and other sellers.
