Master Wand VS Ancient Staff

Featured Replies

I'm aware of the price difference and stat difference.

My question is regarding the CAST SPEED of both weapons for Ancient Magicks.

Is the Ancient Staff faster than the Master Wand?

Do the Master Wand's superior stats make up for the lost speed?

There is NEVER a cast speed difference in magic, no matter what the weapon used.

This.

But you could look at it like : Master wand = better stats = more accuracy = faster kills.

Ancient staff is faster, dont think you can autocast with master wand, that makes it slower.

They are the same speed as long as you click correctly. The only thing is up to how you play, do you want the extra bonus but HAVe to be paying attention when using it, or do you want a little less bonus but with a more relaved auto cast.

I'm 99% sure that master wand can auto-cast both spellbooks.

I also recall reading that the staff casts at a faster rate, but it might have been a rumor or nerfed in the years since DT and MTA updates...

master wand is slower simply becuz it can't autocast ancients.

Other than tht masterwand ftw.

IMO

if your all out ancient maging use the staff on auto.

If ur using mage as a secondary thing take wand and click cast

I think the Ancient Staff would be faster, I mean you'd have to get each click on prefect timing to cast as much as you normally would with an Ancient Staff...

I guess it all really depends on what your using it for, I mean if your training magic with it, then Master Wand, anything else, Ancient Staff.
