October 28, 200817 yr Ok, so i've decided to spend some time cutting yews, making yew longs and then alching the finished product. pretty decent profit and everything you need is located within a very small area near the seers village. at the moment i am cutting the yews in large lots, (around 1.5k before i get bored so lets say thats the cut off). i then pick flax, spin it and assemble the bows at the bank and alch them before i repeat the process. i was wondering if there was a more time efficient way of going about this. i am not looking to purchase any materials as i want to get the maximum profit.

October 28, 200817 yr Author i luckily had a stockpile of 2k nats i got from drops. any more nats i require i can buy from the profits, ideally i'd like to get 44 rc and whatever summoning lvl is required for the spirit graahk. then i could produce my own nats and boost my profit even more. in the end i plan on having 85 fletching, 80 woodcutting, 70 magic. from the stats i have now. once i can make my own nats i'd move on to magic longs.. any estimates on how long this might take?? (10k yew longs, cut, strung and alched)
October 28, 200817 yr To cut, 18 hours. To string, 12 hours. To alch, maybe 2k every 3 hours, so about 15 hours. October 28, 200817 yr Wow, I never thought I'd see myself recommending this, but actually there is a better way to do what you're doing. :? Go to the yew trees in the Tree Gnome Stronghold south of the agility course, and you will find yew trees, flax plants, and spinning wheels all in the same spot. So bring a knife, nature runes, and a fire staff, and you can chop, pick, spin, fletch, string, and alch yew bows all in the same place. October 28, 200817 yr my main got 1-79 mage with mud staff and about 2m gold in runes. Took a while but it worked lol... you could do that.
