I am writing some guides and am wondering about stealin pics

What do you have to post on your page to make sure your not stealing Runescape's artwork/gamework as your own?

Is there a correct way to do it?

If you're writing a guide for HERE, I don't think you have to worry much . . . maybe just put "all pictures taken from Runescape by Jagex" at the bottom?

I don't think that Jagex will hunt you down for posting a pic here in a guide.

This isn't AP lit now.

If it's from official RS, I'm pretty sure they don't care at all, especially since it's an RS guide... If it's from TIF, I don't think it matters either. However, you could possibly add them in the credits... you are making a guide on THEIR site, after all.

Now, if you want pictures from other guides, you must get their conscent, and then credit them (unless they state otherwise.)

All pictures will be from Runescape the official site and all of my guides will be written in my own words for my site.

Just wondering if I should put "All pictures are owned by Jagex LTD" or somthing along those lines.

Are you going to sell your guide? I don't think it applies if it is a non commercial ... Game guide.

I don't think anyone would buy a guide. I'm probably wrong on that. I am creating my own money making guides. They will be free of course.

I was being sarcastic. ;)

Don't worry, the *art* of taking pics from RSDB dates back years, as long as Runescape itself.

From my past experience with using images off Tip.It, they are quite lenient as you credit them and clearly state that you used them too. Ie, not doing this: Thanks to Tip.It for the Pictures!

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Just put a:

© Jagex Ltd.

Under the picture if it belongs to them.

You can take pictures from the RuneScape Official Site without any problems from Jagex, but only if you agree to the terms that Jagex owns your soul.

Nah, you'll be fine, just put something like "Pictures taken from RuneScape Offical Site." on the bottom.
