runesmithie
You know the autocomplete feature? I'm prone to typing the first few letters of a site in and middle lcicking the autocomplete thing that pops up However, every once in a while like when I type 'g' for gmail and I middle click Gmail.com it'll goto the Susan G Komen breast cancer awareness site o.o It will go to sites I've never even heard of :? Just today I was typing in 'ti' for tipit and got a TOTALLY inappropriate site Is there anyway to fix this other than be more complete? :? I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
Moeziz
Don't go to sites you don't want to turn up in your auto complete? :P I clear all mine (along with cookies, temp files) every now and then. Clearing it should get rid of all the sites, so you only get the ones you want to visit!

Mercifull
Turn Off AutoComplete 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu. 3. Click the Content tab. 4. Click the AutoComplete button. 5. Click to remove checkmarks from these items: * Web addresses * Forms * User names and passwords on forms * Prompt me to save passwords 6. Click the Clear Forms button. 7. Click the Clear Passwords button. 8. Click OK. ;) Maybe not you but someone must have been on that site before Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Mercifull
Oops sorry my bad. The only way to remove things from the FF autocomplete is by deleting the history afaik. And i can guarantee you that things dont appear in the FF auto complete unless someone has been on that site. Hannibal
Are you sure you're not using google suggest or whatever it is? Yeah, I don't have any google stuff installed on this computer yet... if I ever decide to install at all That's not what he meant. What he means is that if you type a word in the address bar and hit enter, Firefox will ask google what its top search result for that word is, and go to that page. That seems a likely explanation for what's happening.
