when you lend items and choose "untill log out" what does that mean? untill i log out or until te person i lend to log out?

Until the first one of you logs out. Try to keep that in mind if you're borrowing a weapon or armor that it could instantly disappear from your possession. You're safer borrowing for a period of time.
