November 9, 200817 yr Yew logs are about 457gp, bow strings are about 176gp, yew longs are about 648. It costs 633 for the materials, so that's a profit of 15gp per bow. OR Yew longs (u) are about 446, plus 176 for bow strings and that brings you to about 622, an additional 11gp per bow, which gives you 26gp profit per bow. I recommend doing fletching and stringing, as to not tire you out as fast. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
November 9, 200817 yr What if you buy bowstring&nature runes to alch? Once you add "alch" to the equation, you are most likely losing money. Last time I checked, buying all the materials and selling as yew longs gave 30 gp profit. Keep an eye on those prices though. However if you go for 99 you'd most likely break even. ~It's Super Effective! November 9, 200817 yr Take into account how much you make a bow. Then subtract the alch price - 768 - by the price of the bow. This is your "profit minus natures". Then subtract the price of nats. Most likely you'll lose money. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
