My first discussion topic in a while... here goes...

 

 

 

As we know, the trade limit killed air running. That's not the topic, thank heavens.

 

 

 

The lowest trade limit, at the moment, is 5k per 15 minutes. Hence, many people will be hiring runners for 5k. However, is it worth it? If you give a runner 5k, he has to wait 15 minutes to run again. If you give him 1k, the time he spends running to the bank and back will take up part of that 15 minutes, AND YOU CAN DO IT 5 TIMES!

 

 

 

This means that not only do you lose less money, the runner gains the same amount of money in the same time period, and is active for a greater part of the 15 minute wait meaning that he will get less bored.

 

 

 

So the topic is, Is it more efficient to give a lower pay to runners, for both yourself and the runner?

No, I would have to say it isn't more efficient, because you are forgetting that doing this 1k for every run would only be for 1 runner.. so basically your paying a runner 1k to do the exact same thing you would do in the exact same time. If you do more then 1 runner.. it uses up the trade limit faster and everyone is just waiting around again anyways. The only way to do air running now is with the Assist system, which is unfortunate for a lot of people, because you have to be at least 66+ (usually 77+) to gain Xp from it.

Running airs is a terrible way to make money anyway.

They were paying around 2k per run before, why have they suddenly upped it to 5k because there's a trade LIMIT...??

 

 

 

Makes little sence to me. And Krampell, most people do air running to get RC xp fast, not to make money.

Makes more sense to use the assist system there imo, the runners get about the same money anyway.

running airs was always just a way for runecrafters to get exp at the expsense of the noob runners ( i mean what they make 10k per hour or something? #-o ) now the assist system is just wierd, why do people get cash at a stupidly slow rate for no exp :-s
