Best slayer outfit ~Within my budget~ ^_^

Featured Replies

I have about 24m in my bank but I'm willing to spend only 10-12m of it.

~My current equip:

Slayer helmet

Fury

Torso

V skirt

Fire cape

Barrows Gloves

Dragon boots

Ring of wealth (Getting warrior if it's adviced ::' )

~Weapon + Shield:

Abbysal whip

Rune defender (If it's really necessary I'll get DFS)

Thanks in advance <3: ::'

PS: I think my final goal will be same as above but with Bandos Tassys, Bandos plate and DFS and probably Zerker ring.

Bandos cheast and tassets but I don't know current price and that may go over your buget the rest look good.

And I really don't think dfs is really needed. Becuse most monsters that hit hard enough for guthans or bunyip not to do the job you pray at so I don't think you need one.

Warrior ring it is all prefrense really if you belive in the ring of wealth and it has gotten you good drop then use it.

I use a warrior ring and a lumbring explorer ring for prayer bonus.

Yeah I can't spell get over it!

If you are really serious about getting your slayer up you should be looking for the following two outfits:

Melee Defence:

  •
    [*:2ttd4exm]Slayer Helmet

    [*:2ttd4exm]Amulet of Fury

    [*:2ttd4exm]Fighter Torso

[*:2ttd4exm]Bandos Tassets - Once you start slaying hard, Verac's Skirt degrades quick.

    [*:2ttd4exm]Dragon Boots

    [*:2ttd4exm]Berserker Ring > Warrior Ring

    [*:2ttd4exm]Abyssal Whip

    [*:2ttd4exm]Rune Defender and Obsidian Shield

    [*:2ttd4exm]Fire Cape

Mage Defence:

  •
    [*:2ttd4exm]Slayer Helmet

    [*:2ttd4exm]Amulet of Fury

    [*:2ttd4exm]Karils Top

    [*:2ttd4exm]Karils Skirt

    [*:2ttd4exm]Dragon Boots

    [*:2ttd4exm]Berkserker Ring > Warrior Ring

    [*:2ttd4exm]Abyssal Whip

    [*:2ttd4exm]Rune Defender

    [*:2ttd4exm]Fire Cape

As you can see the two set ups are nearly the same. I saw that in another topic you have a bunyip, so you are able to bring the more strength based gear to bloodvelds instead of infinity boots and god cape. The only big ticket item I listed there was tassets, some people will disagree and say to just stick with the skirt since it has more defence, it is up to you. With some of the money you may wish to invest in a cannon for certain tasks (Dagannoths and Aberrant Spectres).

I'm going to mainly do slayer, so yeah maybe tassets. Cannon already bought ;)

And what do you mean:

Rune defender AND Obby shield?

Do tassys for the def and no degrading and the strength. The cheast only offers def over the torso so just stick with the torso.

Yeah I can't spell get over it!

I would say you pretty much have it down pack. Everything there is everything you could ask for. Maybe spend 2m or so on a Zerker ring. Other than that your pretty much set.

I recently treated myself to a Bandos Chest and let me say I am not to be disappointed as of yet. Not a huge fan of tassets but when I feel like burning more money I may just treat myself to a pair of those as well, until then I will stick with my D skirt.

BTW Bandos Chests are about 11.9m and the Tassets are around 7m+ (give or take a couple hundred thousand)

Apparently, my signature was to big.

Tassets are 8-9m :P I'm currently buying them.

What Campbell said.

Once you buy Tassets and Warrior ring, wait a while until you build a bit more cash up, then buy Bando's chest, and perhaps a berserker ring. This is preference of course, though.

Also make sure you get some other basics like a Zammy Spear/SS for waterfiends, and build up a good supply of pots, pouches etc, so you don't have to keep buying them.

Now go slay ;)

I have :) But how many bunyips should I buy? I bought 50 super sets and I'm gonna buy prayer pots ^^

You should still have a massive amount of green charms left over if you got 68 with crims. I would say make your own buyips. I can't see myself ever buying a pouch I could make otherwise.

But if you are dead set on buying your pouches then I would say a stock of 500-1k would be a good start.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

I didn't say buy them Nop, I said build 'em up!

ultimatballr has it spot on, plus I think making the pouches is somewhat cheaper than buying them.

I used all my charms for 68 summoning, so I bought em. Btw someone told me making them was more expensive (due to shards maybe?)
