Quite a few skilling questions

Well the new mini-game inspired me to get 80+ in the stats used in that mini-game (except smithing, that would be crazy :lol: )

 

 

 

So my questions are:

 

 

 

When would it be a good time to switch over to red chins? I'm thinking 70, but i'm not exactly sure.

 

 

 

Would mining granite be good xp at 61 mining, or should I wait a few levels?

 

 

 

Would powercutting teaks or whatever that one tree is on ape atoll be good xp at 66 woodcutting?

 

 

 

At 63 fishing, would monkfish be decent xp or would I be better off in shilo till around 70?

Powercutting teaks is super win. It's also proven that Tai Bwo Wannai Teaking (parceling them) is faster than dropping them. This is one of the best powertraining ways.

 

Mining granite is win anywhere. I tried it at 58 one time and it kinda rocked. I think its smart to bank this as chiselling it later on can give some money.

 

Red chins -> 70. These arent "fast" xp if you deduct the time wasted trying to find a good world continuously hopping when you get invaded, but these are best for cash.

 

Apparently monkfish win all the way - I got 76 by fly fishing in Shilo. It wasnt that fast.

 

 

 

If you have any leftover FoG things, I suggest doing this for fishing:

 

Harpooning swordfish isnt too good but if you want to fish money shark gloves own with sharks.

 

Using an Ibis is total win also.

 

And, the harpoon from SC isnt working properly yet, I dont think.

 

 

 

So monks are best.

I'd do willows at draynor or barbarian outpost for wood cutting it's easy and requires no dropping.

 

 

 

Mining do iron to about 75 or just stick with it to 80 because granite doesn't get good till about 75-80.

 

 

 

Do orange salamander to 70 hunter then do chins as you said try to find a good world I usually do them in pvp worlds and if see a pker just tele.

 

 

 

For fishing ya shilo is the fastest but monks are decent cash so it's your choice.

That's all I can think of right now

 

Teaks, granite, and monkfish are all good. You can switch to heavy rod powerfishing from 70-80 fishing if you want faster xp. Red chins are fine to start at 63.

70 is still slow, you may want to consider 80 actually.

Of course! When you h ave the level, you may want to consider addy just for cash.

Yes, but you'll be dropping it a lot. An alternative is willows.

You'll have decent xp fly fishing at any level above 60.
