November 16, 200817 yr I'm 65 Smithing and 66 Crafting, what would be relatively cheap and fast ways to do it? Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
November 16, 200817 yr for smithing gold bars although money is lost along the way (although definitely fast not necessarily cheap) for craft bs are basically break even i think ( dont quote me its been a while) so id do them although it will take a while. on the other hand you could do hides which is relatively fast compared to bs ~~~legoman187~~~ Clicky siggy for blogThanks Pendonub for fancy new sigThieving guide[WIP]Loyal player since May 2005 and member since November 2005 and Tifer for many years~~~legoman187~~~
November 16, 200817 yr Crafting I'll just suggest the method I am currently using for 70-80 crafting. Simply buy soft leather and make coifs while using the morphic needle. This will give you 52xp per coif rather than the original 38xp. This means you gain an extra 14xp per coif, which generally cuts out 1/3 of the original time/cost. I consider it a reasonable method to train crafting. However, if you want to be much cheaper you can tan or collect your own hides, or as Cowmaster said, even bowstring crafting. I consider these methods slow, though. Smithing Since I also plan to train smithing from 70-80 I'll just explain the method I plan to use for that as well. I plan to superheat iron ores and then sell the bars. I chose this method because it is relatively fast, and it gives me magic experience on the side. If you want less loss than this, you could smelt steel bars into cannonballs, or mine your own gold and with goldsmith gauntlets either superheat or smelt these. Although, I consider both of those method too slow for comfort. If you want a faster method, but more costly you could smith mithril/adamant bolts from the bars while using a morphic hammer. I believe with mithril bar smithing you gain an extra 30.5xp per bar, and if that is correct, I would imagine a similar gain on adamantite bars. I hope this helps in your decision. : PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
