MTK

I have a few questions before I begin to MTK.

1. Is 800k enough to put in the coffers? I know that it's 75k a day taken.

2. What is the cost per material produced daily for everything?

3. How many materials are produced daily?

4. What is the rate for tuna:swordfish, flax:herbs, coal:gems, and maples:nests?

5. How does allotting workers to herbs work?

6. How fast does my approval rating go down?

Any other questions I'll post as they come/I make them up. ::' Thanks in advance.

What do you know, tip it has a guide that answers pretty much all your questions, you should probably have looked there first: Manage Thy Kingdom

The only question not answered there is your first one really, you should have 1M in there in my opinion. Having 800k is enough, but you will have to go back every day and put 75k more in. With atleast 1M in there you can just check every few days instead.

1.5M is a common amount, as you only need to go back every 10 days.

Also I believe the most profit made is 10 on fishing and 5 on flax (forgot amount of profit though)

Also approval rating goes down 1% per day, although you still do fine coming in every few days or so.

I have done some calculations :geek:

[hide=Calculations]10 days

~~~~~~~~~
545 per worker (coal) (5450 max) (2725 half) (36 gems max) (18 gems half)
(948.3K/474,150 max/half)
1250 per worker (flax) (12500 max) (6250 half) (20 herb seeds max) (10 half)
(1,012,500/506,250 max/half)
891 per worker (maples) (8910 max) (4455 half) (89 nests max) (44 half)
(329,670/164,835 max/half)
{683 per worker (tuna (raw)) (6830 max) (3415 half) (136 gems/caskets max) (68 gems/caskets half)
{60 per worker (swordfish (raw)) (600 max) (300 half)
(1,106,030/553,015 max/half)[/hide]
This actually answers all of my questions... so... I'm set, I just need a few more monies. Thanks Campell and King.
One more thing comes to mind, that I had actually thought of a while back for a MTK guide (lost in rollback). I could put max on coal (5 on fish), mine 2725 iron, and make steel platebodys and then alch for an extra 150k-ish smithing exp and 35k magic exp. In turn I would make a total of 1.3 million (about 500k profit) and that would go down by about 400k if I bought natures and iron (which I don't need to, that's a very easy amount to obtain in 10 days). What are your opinions, should I just go for more money? Note that I need to sell things in order to get enough money for the coffers atm.
You could use the blast furnace and have a 1-1 iron/coal ratio. According to Runescape Wiki, it costs 8 gp to unnote iron and 22.5 gp to unnote coal. You'd have more bars, and you'd still make profit, but you need 60 smithing to use the anvil.
Let's see.... 'twould yield about....
5450 steel bars
300k smithing experience (is it full exp from Blast Furnace?) :shock: (not using morphic tool)
1.308m from Hi alchs
70,850 magic experience
553k from fish
Which sums down to a profit of about 1.85m, minus however much goes in the coffers. (and 300k smithing exp... which seems wrong) and minus anything spent on natures/iron ore.
You should definately get 6 morphic tools, at the cost of two hours it'll net you about an extra 30exp per steel bar, giving you about 460k smithing exp for those bars. and yes the blast furnace does give full exp for both smithing and smelting.
good luck with yer money makin' ::'
