(Recently I posted on this forums regarding Huanted mine quest and specifically whether I could beat Treus Darth, invent setup, and my levels.

 

 

 

If yoou need to be reminderd they are

 

 

 

65 Def,

 

65 Attk

 

65 Str

 

66 Hp

 

59 Rnage.

 

 

 

I was reccomended to range them, it failed dismally(sp?) lucky i had my ROL !,

 

I then tried melee, also phailed.

 

 

 

can some one explain what im doing incorrectly, or even try to help me out ?

 

 

 

both times I had an ample amount of sharks and monks

Melee it, but to get to the ghost thing, click the ground not the ghost.

Uh thats how I did it. Dragon Dagger spec doesn't work btw.

Hey DDS spec does work, I destroyed the boss of the fight with it when I did this quest. Obliterated the **** out of him so bad, he had 1/4 health left after 4 DDS specs.

 

 

 

Pray highest STR/ATK boosting prayer when you are attacking, always use 4 DDS specs on him first. Drink super attack, super strength, super defense potions before battle. After your 4 DDS specs, use Dragon Scimitar to finish him off. Also, wear armor.

DDS didn't work for me, it just did one hit everytime.

Exactly what Miner said. The only thing I have to add is DO NOT CLICK ON THE GHOST TO ATTACK IT, it will take you through all the mining equipment which attacks you and will drastically lower your health. The hardest part isn't killing the ghost, it's retaining enough health getting to him through all the machines that is the trick. Make sure you manually direct your character (clicking space by space on the ground) to attack the ghost instead of letting your character automatically take the shortest route. You'll save a lot of HP that way.

well, first fix your title up as you will proberly get spammed/flamed for it.

 

 

 

second, as FrostyGrunt said, the purpose of this boss isnt to go full arms to combat but play it tactically. I had it easy because my defence is that high, his attacks didnt cause too much fuss and i used a crystal bow. but with your skills its going to be very hard. i'd recommend getting 60 range, msb and mithril arrows. since i dont think prayer is used there, use a super defence potion to boost resistance, and a range potion for added power.

i think thats where I Fkaked it up...too much running, :shame: on me

 

 

 

oh well, give it another shot, painfully, getting the fungus in the cart, going all the way around and back. ive done the quest 3 times over...
