November 23, 200817 yr I am currently going to make 133 GC pouches for 21/25 summoning until i can make the spirit tz-things or w\e Should i use granite crabs and go big net fishing or just sell them because they have no real use. November 23, 200817 yr i'd turn them back into shards at gu'tanoth (ogre city near feldip hills). granite crabs have one use, a minor def boost. other than that their pretty much worthless, you can get better def boosts from other familiars as well. they aren't good fisher....crabs either lol

The name of the ogre is Bogrog by the way, you right-click "swap" on him, and select the pouch(es) that you want to turn into shards. You only get 70% of the shards you used though, so for Granite Crab pouches you'll get ~5 shards back per pouch. SLAYERGEEK
November 23, 200817 yr Unless you're planning on summoning the creature (for useful ones, such as bull ants, terrorbirds, or bunyips, etc.), always trade them back. It will end up saving you millions in shard purchases. Just note them all, one teleport to Watchtower later, and you'll have enough shards to keep on going for another few levels!

EXAMPLE: to make bull ant pouches, you need 40 summoning. You can't trade them to the ogre until level 47. Also, i'd stick with granite crabs for a little while longer - they're cheap, and the secondary materials are easily obtained.

I already started making -kih but i guess i'll stop and leave charms in bank b/c they are expensive. And ill do crabs till 30.
November 24, 200817 yr It isn't 7 levels higher it's some percentage higher. I dunno what it is but it decreases as your summoning increases so you can eventually trade shards for the Steel titan at 99. Trust the Gene Genie!
