Farming 51-65

So, I have a large disliking for farming so I want to do this as effortlessly as possible.

I am thinking of using trees, although they take a while to grow, they give large amounts of xp at once, can be looked after by farmers and would require the least amount of running around and messing around.

I'm not too fussed about losing money, as for me this one skill really is annoyingly bad to train.

Does this seem like a feasable plan or should I really be pursauded to do somethign else?

Any points of interest or help would be appreciated?

Yes, I realise this wasn't really a question but any help or viewpoints would be appreciated.

Use the tip it calculator to see how many seeds you need for 65. Grow maple trees to 60 then switch to yews.

It'll take you exactly 7 days to plant all 71 seeds(according to the calc) if you do 2 farm runs a day. It takes 300 minutes for a maple tree to be fully grown and 380 minutes for the yew tree approximately.

Use all 5 tree patches. They're in falador, taverly, lumbridge, varrock, and gnome stronghold. It doesnt matter how you do your chain-farming run. The point is to get them all done in one trip.

Dont bother with fruit trees or herbs at all. You barely get 2k exp each run.

It'll cost you about 2 mil but its totally worth it. Not only it'll let you finish your quest, it will also unlock the major money-making herb in farming, snapdragon.

This kid doesn't know what he's talking about  You get 4k per each Pineapple tree seed planted and grown, I don't see how that's less than 2k exp a run. :-k

Ill lay it out for you. Its really quite simple when you get the hang of it and I have recently started to kind of enjoy farming. (This coming from someone who used TOG and lamps etc to get to 50+ I use to hate farming but now I realize its quite possibly the easiest total levels I have ever gotten.)

Use Willow tree seeds and Pineapple tree seeds (1 basket of apples and 10 Watermelons to pay for each respectively)

In complementary with the Tree seed runs which you will do once a day and where a vast majority of your exp will come from, you should also do herbs + marigolds. I do Toadflax. Doing 2-3 herb runs (I only use allotments not the my arms patch) a day will give you an added 5-7k exp which adds up nicely over the course of a week. Also to add onto it, the fact that the herbs pay for the tree seeds and payments as well as more herb and marigold seeds.. and you make a profit after all that you really can't go wrong.

If you really could care less about money lost then just do your best fruit tree and reg tree (the yew seeds I got from nests helped me a lot, that 7k exp for each is massive)

Apparently, my signature was to big.

Do all the herb patches before a slayer task(or anything that takes 75+mins)with the best herb you can and then plant at all the tree/fruit tree patches with the highest tree you can and have the farmers look after them. Then re-plant the herbs after a task and check the trees the next day.
