RuneScape Information

  1. The best one out there is the horse-shoe mine in karamja. There's about 10 gold ores or so and it's also easy to get there. You can use the boat from ardougne or you can move your house to karamja. The mine is located at the most northwest part of the island. There's a gold ore respawn right in the middle of the mine so it's a free gold ore every 5 minutes or so. This place can be occupied by some miners as it's a convenient place to mine gold, so you might have to hop for empty world sometimes. The 2nd best place is keldagrim. I dont know much about this place but i've heard there are 100s of gold ores there. The 3rd would be the ores at the tzhaar entrance.
  2. I heard they're going 25m" on christmas. is this true..? I bought 2 santas for 19m each. They're both in ge for max for now, i dont think they'll sell. any suggestions if i should keep these untill christmas?
  3. You might wanna replace the arma helm with a torags helm since you have only 70 def. For the armadyl item, use armadyl pendent. And replace the zammy book with a granite shield or an obby shield(use zamorak bracers for zammy item). Archer ring and ranger boots are just a waste of money in my opinion. They dont make that much of a difference( maybe about 3 or 4% more accuracy) and their prices are sky-high. Ring of wealth doesnt have any effect on adament bar drop count so it's up to you. I just put a duel ring in my ring slot so i can teleport out of place without having to bring a tab. This is my usual gear when im tanking at avs. Torag's helm Accumulator Armadyl pendent Broad bolts Rune crossbow Zamorak hide-top Granite shield Torag's platelegs Saradomin bracers Snakeskin boots Duel ring As you can see I dont have a bandos item. This is not a problem. There is absolutely no bandos monsters in the armadyl eyrie( main camp). You need a mithril grapling hook( rope attached) and 70 ranged to get in there. This is my basic inventory: 100 bones-to-peaches, 100 nats, 1002 fire runes, 2 laws, mithril grapling-hook, 16 sharks, 5 ranging potions. You need 2 fire runes and 2 laws for the trollheim tele. If you havent done the quest you have to take a long walk wearing climbing boots. It is strongly recommended you do the quest tho. For the food, use the best food you can. You can totally ignore the price because you will pay it back off at the avs. You will be making a lot of money here each trip. I can assure you will never run out of nats as the avs drop them. So just bring enough fire runes for alches. I like bring ranging potions so i can speed up the first 2 hours of killing or so. It really helps but it's totally up to you. The amount of btp is up to you. The more tabs you have the longer you will last. I can make a guess you wont last more than 40 hours a trip because your barrows armor will be at 0 after 8 hours of combat. You will be fighting about 1/4th of the time there. Summoning doesnt really help unless you can use a bunyip or a unicorn stallion. A bunyip heals you 2 hp every 15 seconds, so its about 240 hp healed every hour, saving about 3 or 4 btp tabs. This isnt a big deal so dont worry about bringing a familiar. You'll be fine without one. Oh, and also bring a rope with you. You will need it to get down the dungeon since this is your first time. The rope will stay there forever once you've put it there so you dont need to bring more ropes in your later trips. Good luck
  4. If you dont care about the money, try monkey zombies. At your level, you could get up to 100k exp per hour, with a littlle cost. Or you could dharok our good old monkey guards. Dont do stronghold spiders. Theyre terrible exp in my opinion. The only good thing about them is that theyre agressive and you can afk training here. Bandits are ok exp.
  5. Definitely use void. Metal dragons, bloodvelds, basilisks, fire giants and skeletal wyvern are the kind of monsters that you want to range for task. There are still many monsters out there that you can range if you prefer but in my opinion meleeing is always better but in some cases ranging will get your task done faster and save you some money. For example, fire giants. I prefer ranging them as they hit you quite often and it usually takes you about 2 trips to get your task done unless of course if you have guthans. Here's what i think you should do. Dont use ranged at all on your slayer tasks. Melee has so many advantages, for example, the slayer mask( or black mask). I can get my tasks done so much faster meleeing. For ranged exp, chin. Here's what i'd do from 84. Steel dart at yaks untill 90 then chin all the way to 99. If you're looking for some money, go avs camping.
  6. There's a scorpion at the monastery near edgeville. It's upstairs wher the monk robe respawns are. If you pick up that queen scorpion it'll deal like 3 damage. Just keep clicking on it untill you have your desired hp. This is what i always do before i go dharoking in ape. Easiest way to get 1 hp imo.
  7. Use the tip it calculator to see how many seeds you need for 65. Grow maple trees to 60 then switch to yews. It'll take you exactly 7 days to plant all 71 seeds(according to the calc) if you do 2 farm runs a day. It takes 300 minutes for a maple tree to be fully grown and 380 minutes for the yew tree approximately. Use all 5 tree patches. They're in falador, taverly, lumbridge, varrock, and gnome stronghold. It doesnt matter how you do your chain-farming run. The point is to get them all done in one trip. Dont bother with fruit trees or herbs at all. You barely get 2k exp each run. It'll cost you about 2 mil but its totally worth it. Not only it'll let you finish your quest, it will also unlock the major money-making herb in farming, snapdragon.
  8. Whats the best kind of junk you can make by yourself? Ive been mining granite for junk but it's gone down a lot since the granite splitting update. Ive heard a little bit about tribal clothes. If this is a good way, I'd like to hear more please. How do you make your junk? Post all your answers here. Thanks very much guys

  10. thanks for all of your advices guys. i really appreciate it. now i've decided to do all the lvl 3 clues i get no matter what :D anyone think level 4 clues are coming out?
  11. ooh i'd really like to know more about this barb fishing what are the requirements and what do i need? im gonna go read the barb fishing section in the knowledge base for now :
  12. ice bursting monkey zombies would be fastest for your level switch to ice barrage once u hit 94 mage you can get about 150k-250k exp per hour doing this  while losing mils :wall:
  13. whats the best way to powertrain fishing? right now, im fishing in shilo village. is there a faster way? i really dont care about the money
  14. title says it all im talking about the level 3s here. ive done only 2 clues in my runescape life and i ended up with crappy awards. i mean it takes about 30-45 minutes do to a clue and all you get from the rewards is like 50k gp. wouldnt you rather do other things instead of wasting time on this clue? so id like to know if clues are really worth doing. my friends just tell me not to even bother picking up clues cause' theyre a waste of time. what's the chance of getting something good, like 3rd age or w/e? i'd like to hear some opinions on this . thanks guys
