i recently made my second pixel. look in "the chandelier" in the forum. thats my second one. havent started my third yet.

Thread hijacking, much?? -.-

Oh, and on a completely off topic note... Your egg has soft-shell, Gigajie, so you'll probably want to fog that sucker before it dies.

It looks great, I can't wait to see it finished and more from you in the future.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments :D

This is really really well done for a second. I think you have major talent. By the way, is this pixel going to be for anyone?

Ummm.. It's not going to anyone, no. However, I was thinking about keeping it and perhaps using it as my signature. :)

The colors and everything are looking great, well done. But the perspective is still really goofy. You did a good job with the road leading straight to the Emerald City, but it still looks like the forest is right next to it.

My suggestion is this: Bring the forest a lot closer and have it fill the left side of the pic. You can try squeezing the road in or leave it out, but I think leaving it out would be the best option. That way you have the dark and gloomy forest in your face on the left, and the Yellow Brick Road on the right leading to the city way back for a nice contrast.

Keep in mind not to split the composition in half if you do this. That looks bad. And since I have no idea if it would work that way at all without seeing it, save it as a separate file. That way you won't screw it up utterly and I won't be to blame :P

Thanks for the criticism ::' Ill experiment with the forest. I have an idea, so hopefully it turns out. Haha, I've been saving this pixel so much that right now Im on my 9th different save :ohnoes:

However, I might have to put this on hold a bit. I have some major reading to do in a week left of school until break (1400 pages :ohnoes: ), so I might not have much time to finish (Im also having a hard time getting all the different colors for the sky... :( )
