Additional Dragon Armour (Kite only now I guess) and Weapons (Warhammer, Crossbow etc) are suggested often enough now.

 

What about a cape?

 

I am bad in making pictures and such, so I won't be doing that, sorry.

 

 

 

On looks:

 

Two winged-shaped parts, joined togeteher around the neck.

 

 

 

On stats:

 

Imagine an obsidian cape, with enhanced stats. The cape however, isn't complete when obtained. You have to add two pieces of Dragonhide to it to give it a) a stat boost, and B) a colour.

 

You can also use a set of Dragon Bones on them for a Prayer boost.

 

Basic, unfinished stats: equal to the obsidian.

 

Green D'hide would give a +2 on all defense, and +1 prayer if bones are used to. Blue D'hide gives +4 on all defense, and +2 prayer if bones are used. Red gives +6/+3, Black gives +8/+4.

 

 

 

Level 70 crafting is required for Green, 80 for Blue, 90 for Red and 99 for Black. Brutal version requires 20 additional levels.

 

 

 

Note: the Brutal Green Dragon would drop Brutal Green D'hide, thus granting a far improved version if the special is used. The standard bonuses remain the same.

 

 

 

Aside from this, if the KBD is slain, you can 'use' the cape on a pool of blood (only the one who have a Dragon Wing-cape and deal the most damage/final blow see this) to get it enhanced for a +10/+5 bonus after Black D'hide and D'Bones have been used.

 

 

 

Level 99 prayer is required for this.

 

 

 

If a full set of Dragon is worn (Full Helm, Platebody, Platelegs, Cape, Gloves, Boots) in combination with a Dragon Fire Shield a special ability is attained. You can choose among three different abilities:

 

 

 

1) You transform into a dragon with the colour of your cape for 3 rounds, able to blast everything into oblivion (100% drain of your bar, and stats are reduced by 50% afterwards)

 

2) You can summon a Spirit Dragon for 3 turns which will fight as normal. (100% drain, 99 summoning required)

 

3) Your stats are increased by 100% for 1 minute (100% drain, return-to-normal rate is double for this)

 

 

 

After using the special, you cannot use it until 24 hours have passed.

 

 

 

Looks:

 

1) The wings will grow and wrap around you rapidly, then you expand into the dragon. Afterwards the dragon will vanish slowly and you will show up again.

 

2) A standard summoning, but with a larger circle around the dragon.

 

3) A red circle around you, and a red beam towards the sky (like a Dragon B-Axe special, with a reversed Retribution prayer graphic or something like that)

 

 

 

Drawbacks:

 

- The capes will only be able to be traded in uncrafted forms, only yourself can enhance it.

 

- Dragons will be barely affected by the Dragonfire from the Spirit Dragon and the Transformation, and they whill barely hit less higher during the active aura.

Nice idea. My opinions:

 

 

 

- All dragon bones are the same item and a +1 prayer bonus is just excactly balanced for such a cape, we dont need 4.

 

 

 

- 3 different abilities is weird. I would rather just suggest an emote like turning into a dragon or something, like a skill cape.

 

 

 

- Blasting everything into oblivion could work as something like a cannon, and is quite reasonable. However 24 hours is too long, I'd rather suggest 5-15 minutes as long as its not overpowered.

a lot of people make suggestions that pretty much make ppl invincible, which would ruin the point of the game. this is one of them.

support although it isint f2p :

100% increase in stats? Well let's see, if I'm 99 strength, that doubled is 198. During WGS, I hit a 115 with 225 strength, and people tell me you can hit higher.

 

 

 

Hmm....
