anyway, started to colour this in... seems i am having a bit of difficulties with direction of light source, so any tips on that would be appreciated.

Yea, the clothes/equipment and facial expression kinda set a dark atmosphere, and so the skin colour sorta sticks out - and some sections look very light in teh light.

 

 

 

Anyway, could I ask what you are going for with the face? I'm just curious as to why you decided to design it like that =)

originally it was just going to be plain with the eyes... then i remember how some clowns look, so it just went... "hey let's do it like that" :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

about the skin tone... i was going to the 'barrowish' look, but i guess it didn't quite work out as it made him look kind of like a wuss :P
