Whenever I try loading RuneScape or the RSOF my screen will just freeze and then it will come up Internet Explorer not responding.

I can't use FF because when I click the icon the screen does not appear.

Any ideas what is causing this? Also none of my Java downloads are working.

This part is off topic but does anyone know the cause of most messages on MSN not coming through to me or why Youtube videos never fully load for me?

Few more details, such as what OS?

If you're using Vista, specify x32/x64 and which version of IE.

Ummm, what have you done to your computer since RS last worked?

Hmm, kinda strange. Try re-installing IE, I've had problems with it before. Firefox is more stable tbh.

Besides re-installing a bunch of stuff, I don't know what to suggest :?

I think there may be a larger problem here... :-k

why2060, is there any parental control software running on your computer? Also, have you run antivirus/antispyware sweeps? I'm asking because FireFox should launch easily, and to read about it not launching means something may be wrong elsewhere in the computer. :geek:

To me it points to a Java problem, I would try reinstalling it. I'm not too sure about the Firefox part.

Well after a few hours of messing around with things (not literally) it turns out for some reason Java vanished from my PC for no apparent reason

I've just reinstalled it and everything is fine shame I'm just about to go to bed

Thanks for the help everyone.

I have one last question... Did installing Java again repair your problems with FireFox/MSN/YouTube? :|

Nope.

I've suffered from the Youtube/MSN problem for a long time now it is very annoying. Also when I'm downloading things they will randomly stop at any number and I will have to restart, restart etc
