Roberthree
I'm leveling farming with trees and I was wondering which one was the best to use. Should i always do the highest level one or are there some that are just to expensive per xp?
langer
you can profit from oaks and willows (if you cut branches and sell) You can profit from fruit trees up to orange I think, picking the fruit. Curry is a loss or breaks even. All other trees will cost you except fruit trees if you harvest enough fruit from them to break even before cutting them and replanting. The rest is up to you.... profit or fast farming xp. transcript80
Wether a tree is TOO expensive is up to you and your budget. I use all seeds I get from nests in MTK. When I sell all the rest I get from there, it's very cheap xp. I save the highest level trees for last, until I get a new batch, every time I'm there, I pick the fruits/ cut it down once. So every time I visit Catherby on my farming runs, it's 6 coconuts. Every time I pass the gnome stronghold, I pick coconuts and chop down both mage trees growing 1 sqaure apart. When I'n in the elf city (gathering white berries, mining stars, slayer task) I pick the tree. It really adds up in the long run, makes SOME of your money back. It's still as epxensive as if you would buy the seeds from the GE. You loose out on a lot of money by 1) not selling the seeds, but using them yourself 2) not putting your workers on fish and flax, which is PROVEN to be the best money however, by not directly buying them from the GE, it SEEMS you are loosing less. All this is common sense, I thought. The rest of your reply is very true and helpfull though. Anyhow, the OP will have to spend some money if he wants fast xp. Italian5kamikaze
2) not putting your workers on fish and flax, which is PROVEN to be the best money It depends, if you get enough high level seeds you could make more off of putting some on maples, not to mention the fact that crushed nests are 2k+ each and you make a small amount of cash from selling the maples. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
