As i said, its based off drop value, any pk over 25k is worth the same, so stop thinking, "hes wearing good stuff" and trying to pile him, and go kill that guy wearing half mithril half addy with the r2h.

 

In the new system its quantity over quality, so start pking that way, kill as many people as you can in the shortest amount of time, if some one looks tough, pick a different target, the drops wont be any worse.

 

WRONG! I don't know how many times Jagex has stated that it is the quality of the one kill over the quantity of many. If you spend an hour in a hot zone without killing anyone, and then kill someone who has been doing the same thing, and you're both risking 25k+ you will most likely get a great drop. But even if your risking 3mil worth of stuff and you are running around killing person after person after person one after another, you wont get a good drop... the chances are slim anyways. Don't believe me?... Go read Jagex's own statements made about it on the RuneScape homepage eh?

I have pked 57m so far in the new system, i dont give a damn what jagex says, the 2 hours wasted trying to gain potential thats already there could have got you 30 kills, 1-3 of which could have been whips dragon full helms or anything else.

Though exaggerated, you illustrated the key point in the system.

However, you still failed to mention that excess amounts of time in pvp worlds holding at least 75k to risk increases drop value.

 

That would be a good point to mention in the post. Then again, too many people are running into banks and not risking much and expecting to get a good drop. And too many people think that risking 200k gives better rewards than 75k.

You make a valid point, but there is a formula for the cost of your drops. And a variable that they consider is likely to be your foes armor and how much money he is gambling to fight you.

Being an older RS player I strictly believe that the good old PK system can never be replaced in my heart though I don't mind the new one too much. Overall I think they did a decent job at trying to revive PVP =D>
