December 11, 200817 yr Well I've been working on this wallpaper for a while and I was going to touch up the renders so they match into the background (Like littleboy does it? (Not one colour, just the tone over the piece)) but realized that I don't have a clue on how to do it, any kind of help would be appreciated. [hide=Wallpapor][/hide]
December 11, 200817 yr One big problem with that that I immediately noticed is that it's completely flat, there's no depth. I'm not talking about perspective, but depth. A good wallpaper flows well, like that one I linked you.
December 11, 200817 yr Author Why is everyone testing my patience (s?) today? Although I'm not letting it out on anyone but please stay on topic. By the way I can't say it's too easy to create depth only by smudging (I'm not good enough to do it either).
December 11, 200817 yr For the tone, a few gradient maps and an exposure adjustment normally change the mood of the piece alot. Great wallpaper IMO, though the smudging looks a bit rushed IMO. Try the chalk brush for smudging, I noticed it can look great on wallpapers. Perhaps add a few wireframes/C4ds too ;) 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
December 11, 200817 yr Author I'll give it a shot , thanks. Yeah it's true that the smudging was rushed. C4Ds are coming up as well, might as well try Wireframes while I'm at it.
December 12, 200817 yr Why is everyone testing my patience (s?) today? Although I'm not letting it out on anyone but please stay on topic. Didn't mean my post like that, sorry. And yeah, in such a large peice depth with smudging is really difficult.
December 12, 200817 yr Author Not a problem at all dsavi, just had a bad day and yes I realized it was just some constructive criticism.
