Training Magic

Featured Replies

Hey guys

I'm looking for some ways of training magic where the experience is over 80k an hour on average..

(Thats not bursting)

Do you guys have any advice? I don't mind cost as long as it isn't ridiculous.

Thanks in advance

I would calculate it yourself ;)

Uhm, fishbowl>lunar humidify

is fast too.

Lunar Magics

Calculate with your exp.

i would either alch, or burst rock lobs, trust me only great ways to train...

Repeatedly casting stun can get you 100k exp a hour if you focus.

2 ways i've recently been training mage are:

Lunar Spellbook - String Amulet

120k xp/hr average, 83xp /cast, 350 gp loss/83xp.

Additional info: 1 click for 27 casts.

Lunar Spellbook - Plank Make

90k xp/hr average, 90xp/cast, 200gp loss (teak logs)/90 xp

Additional info: You have to click each individual log.

Both of the above are great ways to train, and i usually alternated between the two. :D

lol, what a shame to hear that from a 99 mage.

I'll just say the one that hasnt been mentioned yet: enchanting diamond bolts. Up to 150k xp an hour, and you break even/make profit, if you buy and sell wisely.

Not very practical as it is hard to buy diamond bolts in ge :wall:

If you buy the bolt tips and addy bolts its really easy....might take a little while to fletch them but its free fletching exp and you can make many sets with one click, unlike putting feathers on unf bolts.

Another method to training magic is onyx enchant in the mage training arena. Its around 70k per hour if I remember correctly but its a ton cheaper than string amulet or humidify or stun.

Don't forget, you can always grab those runes and head to the Mage Training Arena to work towards the b2p spell (or get some infinity robes to sell back to GE to make a profit) and feel your sanity slowly vanish with the repetitiveness!

Punk-rock tried to destroy the metal, but metal was much too strong

Techno tried to defile the metal, but techno was proven wrong

You'd get nowhere near 80k mage xp an hour.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
