Selecting Stats (P2P) - Tips and Opinions Wanted

Hello, everyone.

 

 

 

After about 2 years of not playing Runescape, a few friends have convinced me to come back. My biggest interest was, and still is, Player Killing. With the new PKing worlds, I know that PKing has changed a lot! I've heard from many people that pure accounts aren't as effective as they used to be, and that other tactics are now used.

 

 

 

I'm asking you guys, my fellow PKers, for your advice. I have an account with stats that aren't high at all, which I wish to turn into a PKing account. I have narrowed it down to three options:

 

 

 

A Range Tank

 

94 Mage

 

99 Range

 

52 Prayer

 

70-99 Defence

 

 

 

This is the one that is most appealing to me. I enjoy range, and I hear that ranging down Aviansies is very profitable. Thing is: I do not know if this type of account is effective in PKing.

 

 

 

 

 

The Typical Strength Pure (with vengeance)

 

70 Attack

 

99 Strength

 

1 Defense

 

1-52 Prayer

 

94 Magic

 

 

 

I'm not a fan of low defense at all, but if this is the most effective way to PK, then I'll do it.

 

 

 

 

 

The All-Rounder

 

Good levels in each combat skills (excluding summoning)

 

 

 

 

 

Above all, I want to (again) be the most effective PKer I can be. I mostly enjoy Melee and range, and I'm a fan of high defense. What do you guys think is the best type, even if it's not posted above? What do you think the best equipment would be for that type? Money is pretty much no restriction here (those party hats from 2 years ago went way up).

Could you tell me a little bit more about Zerkers? What they equipment would be (other than the barrows stuff), and the optimal skills and strategy? That seems to be a new thing.

zerkers are 45 def and high strength and attack. they dont use barrows because of the 45 defence and use zerker helmet, rune legs, torso, fire cape, rune boots and things like that

If you do a berserker make sure to train def with quests.

 

 

 

Berserker is a good idea, they aren't very limited in what other things they can do. Make a good main.

99 range-dark bow

 

94 mage Ice barrage

 

60 attk Dds

 

High str without raising a cb

 

44 Prayer(eagle eye)(prot item)

People call this setup cheap because it gets fast kills. But I think its an awesome setup

 

 

 

Basically you find someone you want to kill. Pot, get in pvp and stay a safe distance so someone else can't k0 u. You ice that person with mage prayer then switch to range and have you spec ready (db0w with dragon arrows) And you shoot the guy, if he doesn't die then switch quickly to ur dds and spec him.

 

That should be a kill almost every time.

you need 45 def to wear lunar thats why theres zerker pures.

 

 

 

^^ i'd recommend going with 45 str.
