ive heard its possible to pull it off with just oak logs and still have a little time to spare. You probably have to be perfect in your runs or something but yea its possible. The higher log you use the more mistakes you can make since u get more time

as for chinning, youd get near lvl 96-97 range. doubt but even maybe 99 range. bursting i have no clue sorry. to compare the prices: i got 93-99 range with around 12m

btw yea battle staffs are a good idea. You loose a wee bit (like 1.5gp/xp) but your getting 100 xp+ real fast. To start off the more money you invest the faster you go. I invest about 1.5m (its all i have right now lol) and it goes slightly slow cause every time i make them i have to alc to buy more but if you have 3m+ it goes faster

what do you suggest ranging with on armoured zombies. Cause i too tried this at 95 range and didnt get much of a better result when using bronze knives

well go through the thing first that teaches you how to play. then: collect clay, turn it into arrows or runes, repeat. oh and a tip is to create a pouch for a familiar and a few scrolls and then as you go on fill it up with the arrows or runes. the scroll will "bank" (it actually goes to the base) and earns you most of your points.

yea you gotta really want 99 range if your going for it. its not for everyone. for me its the other way around though. I dispise training melee. I feel like its the most boring skill to train. Other wise i would have stuck with my str pure lol. Gl on cooking and just raise range when u feel like it. unless ur gonna pk 90 range usually is sufficient to do alot of other things.

lol umm it was spanned across like 5 months i think.. ill get back to you when they impliment the total game hours and might give you better estimate. as for your how: 1-60 the usual f2p guide to ranging 60-83 ankous and cockroach workers (was f2p) 83-94 slayer, yaks, firegiants ( if you want money i forgot dust devils are good around here) 94-99 gray chinning all the way (cost about 15m in the end) I got my money for chinning from running double nats. got assisted from a clan that usually assists people on world 36 i think (name is "ffdn") 250k-900k depending on what route you choose (abyss or graahk)

just do yaks then since youve shot down any other idea. once your 99 you'll be able to make serious money. my range tank does gwd alot since its gotten 99 and love it

yea as the previous poster said you should be makeing like 300k+ i was tanking with just dragon (cant use torags yet) and i got around that much usually. since your 75 i suggest getting bandos boots maybe and going west of gwd entrence. im thinking your going into crowded places so not getting max profit. the aviances in the west are usually not even used. ive seen worlds where all day noones there but me. so try that. and are you using bones to peach tabs or spell? that might be ur problem too if your tanking + using prayer for some reason. idk

80's alright if your doing aviansies for money. 90 as the previus post says is needed to do bosses effectively As for 3m... im thinking ull get around 120-150 xp each chin. so you do the rest of the calculations. (3m/price of chins) x 120 xp = thats ur total xp gain with 3m. now add ur total xp + the gain off the 3m and ull see where u might be after spending it. oh btw id use gray chins. I used them from 90-99 range and it wound up being cheaper then if i used reds.

That's not price manipulation; that's being economically savy. Buy when low and sell when high is not manipulation. Manipulation is buying up all the stock so there's no competition and then waiting for the demand to eventually pile up. Or It is saying on the forums, "Zamorak pages got nerfed in drop rate! They're now more common!" to lower the price. no im talking about when that merching clan made the dark bow go up to 1.1m. I was smart enough to buy a couple myself so i could ride the train till it was enough profit for me and sold a day before they dumped the dbows back into the ge.

personally im all for it. im not rich but i dont really care how people make money. For those that do it and figured it out congrats :D you found out how to merch on the g.e. For those who are against it.. you either probably lost money cause of price manipulation or you just arent smart enough to join them youself. Although there might be a few of you like me that are too afraid to get banned for doing it lol. For those who have lost money because of it. Thats your fault. When i had my darkbow about a month ago i watched the price of it so i wouldnt loose anything. When it went up i guess i made a profit :) The moral to all of this is if you have high value items like barrows, a gs, or something like that then watch the g.e prices. If you look at the graph you can usually see when a clan is merching it. When that happens wait about a day or 2 and then sell for profit. usually clans rise it for a week and then drop all of them into the g.e.

how do you calculate in the void? im 96 range and wandered the comparison for full void vs blk dhide + archer helm

his is on top of the hill.. the trail goes around in circles and has alot of agility shortcuts on it

yea bone crossbow or even zaniks' is good for ogres. really its all slow xp till you get to 85+ and you use chins. if your trying to profit: dragons, xp+ prayer: ogers, max xp/hour rangeing: yaks probably of course till u get to chinning like i said earlier

just saw how much skilling and quests id have to do (garden of tranq, family quest, 25 lvls of agility and farming) so i dont think its worth it for me right now till i get defence up. llamster said yaks arent good range xp? are there any better that come to mind? ive been trying to find a good medium inbetween yaks and chinning for like 2 months in members and havent found. firegiants are good drops so been doing some of them recently but xp/hour isnt better then yaks.

anyone tried ranging armoured zombies? im 94 range 65 def. ive heard they max out at 90k/hour in melee and i was just thinking zombies could be better then yaks at high lvl range. Cant test it myself till i get defender of varrock so would like some input please and thanks :) I dont mind using money for food or other things as long as its better xp then yaks but less money lost then chining

Ive heard about bandits being a great thing for str training and so i looked it up and saw they used prayer pots to keep them hitting 0's. This sounded sorta like chinning at ape atoll dungeon with the skeleton monkeys. Saw a connection possibly but cant find where anyone has tried chinning bandits. Anyone know anything about this or tried it?

so you think its better just to buy the chins? 3-4 weeks actually doesnt sound bad cause in those weeks i would have enough chins for 99 range and get hunter cape which means then the range cape would be trimed and thats always nice. im gonna try it for atleast a while and can always go back to something else if i get bored and come back if it isnt too boring. thanks :D

ok i just saw another post about someone going for 99 hunting. they got 60 in a day so a thought came to mind. would it be worth getting 70 hunting and then hunt red or gray chins for a month or two then chinning from 91-99 range in around a week (heard this only takes around a week at ape atolls skeletons) or would i probably still need even more chins to get the 99 range. i dont mind spending a couple mill but i find other ways of 99 range better unless i can hunt them and not spend so much.

ive been comeing out with 1m every day (i dont like spending alot of time where theres about 3 people in the whole armadyl side in each world.. gets boring not talking to anyone) so im not a nub or anything. again low defence but im seeing people with 30 defence with addy and around 70 range and their doing great too. but i didnt know if there was something wrong with getting hit high one half hour and then the next half each avi hitting me around 4 before i kill them.

my range tank has been doing avianses for about a week now, and i just realized there are times im getting hit constantly. but then its like they die down and hit 0s alot. is this just me or are other people seeing the same thing. yea i know im only 60 def but i would think they would be hitting average numbers. like if you add up the number of hits per minute or something id think that would be the same every time frame. also is there some hidden hp trick while killing monsters? ive heard while training agility if you keep your hp low then you get hit less when u fail an obsticle.

was 80 range, 40 def when i took it down 10 shots of bronze xbow and bolts. ive seen others with like 60 range and 1 def do it too so you can do it stand up next to them and wear dhide legs, dhide vambs rune chain and full helm (substitute addy in if your not getting 40 def before you do this) bronze xbow and bolts antifire shield power ammy and maybe a cape explorer ring bring swordies and the highest i was hit was 10. swordies heal 14 so youll do fine. if you run out of food (very unlikely) just go bank with explorer ring and try another round.. if its a dead world then noone should have taken your kill and ull be right where u left off (+ whatever he healed when u were gone)

i usually go down to ankou to train range...25k+ (or 75k+ for mems) builds up fast and so ur staying down there for long periods of time and ur risking alot.
