Is it worth keeping the Lunar Magicks on to use the NPC contact spell for faster slayer assignment obtaining?

If you are training slayer it is handy, providing you have sufficient means of alternative transportation (ie spirit trees, games necklace, slaying ring, tele tabs fairy rings etc etc etc...)

 

 

 

I also like getting my sand from Bert everyday, but i find normal spellbook easier for slayer.

Only reason I ask, is I am going to use the NPC from the Smoking Kills quest, and I didn't want to run all the way down the desert to talk to her.

If you are seriously slaying, then keep it on Lunar.

Lunar Spellbook got nice spells to skilling, but not to travelling around tho

 

 

 

unless you got 96+ mage you need to use tele tabs

Don't forget about the occasional issue of teleporting, but you do have access to areas where you can't teleport with the normal or ancients book. Besides, there is the occasional poison spell..

If your sole reason is just to talk to Sumona - just learn how to craft slayer rings. - Personally i did this before spending points on any other rewards.

What about high alching?? Your missing out on that too.

 

 

 

I do not think using lunar is worth it. Just move your house to Pollovinech. House tele or House Tab and its just a few steps out. It is also helpful if you have an alter in your house to recharge prayer.

 

 

 

Slayer rings.. waste TBH when your house is right there.

lunar magic is only useful for slayer if u can use spellbook switch spell. otherwise just use slayer ring. and it takes only 1 gold bar + a slayer gem that costs 1gp
